The Thirty-Fourth Day

 [Shiki blinks. Then she realizes that she's blinking. Slowly, she moves all of the parts of her body until she accepts that she actually can again. She then runs over and hugs her mannequin. She now knows how it feels. She just spent nearly a month as one, after all.

She then walks over to her journal, which has been open next to her the entire time she was in her mannequin'd state of being, and idly flips to a new page and begins speaking into it.]

So, you know what sucks? Being a mannequin. That's what sucks.

Anyways, um, so I'm pretty sure I was a mannequin for, like, a month or so? I don't know for sure. But, um... how is everyone, I guess? I haven't talked to you guys in a while! I mean, I couldn't, but... Equius! Ted! Barney! Tamaki! Maya! Doctor! Just... everyone! Talk to me? I've missed you~

Oh, and... did I miss anything? I mean, I could hear everything from the journal, but a lot happens all at once, you know?

((ooc: Shiki may be calling out to specific people, but this post is totally open like an open thing! Especially if you want to be the one to tell Shiki that her boyfriend left the castle - she just thinks that she hasn't heard from him in a while. Have fun with her!))

There was a... game, back at home. The Reaper's Game. After you die, you're put into it, and you have to survive for a week. Most don't. I don't know if it's just from my universe, though, or if it happens everywhere.

You're put in a game? How does that even work?

Well, it's not like a board game or anything. It's more like an alternate plane or dimension or something. They just called it a game.

What do you have to do to survive it?

...Fight.

Mostly it was just these literally soulless monsters called Noise, but sometimes it was the Reapers... or even, a little bit, each other.

You're dead and you have to fight to be alive again? That's pretty crappy.

Haha, yeah. It wasn't the best time of my... er, existance. But it also changed my... everything. And it gave me my best friend in any universe, so, I mean... it could've been worse too, you know?

Did you at least get out?

[stalkershiki]

Oh! Yeah, we did... my Partner and the other Partners he ended up having to get and I... we all won and got out and got to live again and everything.

[arealwoman]

I'm glad, at least there's that.

That's true. I am pretty glad that we all managed to get our lives back...
