009//Dictated
[The sight of a man in a well-tailored suit carrying a katana might not be as uncommon in the castle as it would be elsewhere, but the look of pure, unadulterated rage on Vicious' face is probably enough to warn off all but the most cavalier of people. He's looking for something, and when he finds it, the journal picks up on it as well.]
Spike.
[There's a lot of venom behind that shouted name, and then the sounds of someone doing their best to dismantle a door with their bare hands and the occasional aid of a sword.]
[OOC: Feel free to run into him before he makes it to his destination, if you'd like a character infected, or are just looking for a very wrathful encounter.]

Dictated forever sorry I had to
...Hello?
Dictated forever, LOL
What do you want?
[If tone of voice could kill... well.]
no subject
You called me, dude.
...Unnnless you mean the other Spike.
Actually, you're kinda angry so it probably is that other Spike. He bring that out in people.
no subject
[Although if he found him, it wouldn't be nice, so it's probably best Vicious has no idea where the little dragon is.]
no subject
Jeez, yeah got that loud and clear. No need to be a jerk about it.
dictated;
Vicious? What's wrong?
dictated;
He's not answering.
[Because that's totally a reason to kick down someone's door. He certainly doesn't sound a thing like his usual, dispassionate self.]
dictated;
What did he do? [Because Spike had to have set him off somehow, though he didn't get nearly his angry when Spike hit him]
dictated;
[And that snarled response seems to be the only answer he's giving to either comment. He doesn't want to be distracted from his goal.]
dictated;
[He just sighs, because he's gotten the feeling something here is off. More off than normal, anyway.]
Do me a favor and don't die.
dictated;
[And there's the sharp 'crack' of a door giving up the ghost. Good luck getting his attention now.]
dictated;
Seriously, castle? He really hates you.]
I guess a lack of murder is too much to ask...
[Oh well...]

action; one wrathful-ish encounter coming right up.
You look as though you seek a fight.
action forever
You're in my way.
[Which is good enough reason to lob a throwing knife at his shoulder, really.]

... Well, that speeds things up. Inelegant for Vicious, but the castle probably has something to do with it. Not that he has time to wonder. He doesn't move to answer, just grabs his gun and quickly checks the magazine. Then he ducks behind the one corner in the room and counts the seconds before that door breaks down.]
no subject
That just leaves Vicious standing in the doorway looking more disheveled than usual and ready to maim the first person he sees.]
no subject
The way things keep going, it almost makes him feel sorry for his neighbors. He already knows there's nothing he can do to avoid making a mess. Magic infection or not, it was bound to happen eventually.
Once that's decided, he takes a step out into the open. He keeps his gun lowered at his side, but still visible, like a silent invitation.]
Done sneaking around, Vicious?

Vicious' sudden rush forward manages to throw Spike off guard nearly long enough for his mistake to matter, and he wears a strained smirk as he quickly raises the gun again, preparing to fire -- it's all he can do to deflect a sword that might be slashing out at him. He always did like having his attention.]
no subject
Confined spaces were hardly well suited for swinging a sword, either, but he did anyway, swiping out as Spike as he tried to keep Spike trapped in the room.]
no subject
Can't make it too easy on him.]
no subject
If push comes to shove, he'll abandon the sword altogether, but for now he lunges around the chair to take another swing at Spike.]
no subject
Still too close. The grin returns on his face through his annoyance that this is where he decided to confront him. Then he ducks and make another play towards the hallway.]
no subject
The furniture is getting irritating, though. Instead of trying to dodge around the couch this time, he just goes up and over it, and after Spike.]
no subject
That leaves the light spilling in from the splintered door, and the short run to get there.]
no subject
Well, that was no good. Spike was going to get away from him at this rate, before he could even get his hands on him properly. He wasn't about to give up, though, and dove on after him, making a wild, one-handed swing with the katana as he did so.]
no subject
He stops retreating. If Vicious is that far gone, he'll take advantage; Spike's hand comes back down and he tries to see how many shots he can get off before Vicious has time to swing again.]
no subject
But he's too caught up in that moment to notice Spike's change in tactics, and it takes a bullet to the arm to jolt him back to that reality. Far from fatal, but it's a wound that's going to keep him from fighting as effectively now.
He corrects for his misstep, dropping the katana for now in favor of his bare hands. He's supposed to be trying to infect others--that imperative sits at the back of his mind, still--but he would much, much rather wrap his hands around Spike's neck and strangle him, if given half a chance.]
no subject
Once he is close enough, Spike kicks his leg at his approximation of where Vicious' jaw might appear, and keeps his good arm in front of him. If he'd rather grapple with him, Spike doesn't mind indulging.]
no subject
When it comes to unarmed combat, he's not half as good as Spike, but he's not worried about that, really. He just lashes out, trying to get a handful of jacket so he can drag Spike in closer.]
no subject
The castle really did a number on you.
no subject
It's given me another chance to kill you.
no subject
How many chances do you need?
no subject
As many as it takes.
[They can kill each other over and over forever, so far as he's concerned.]
no subject
It's not a few seconds after Vicious' hand closes on his throat that Spike's knee shoots upward, aiming to hit hard while he has the opening. -- Just because he expects it, doesn't mean he's going to make it easy. They'd never be satisfied any other way.]
