[She was kicking herself for not noticing sooner. How something so important could have went by unnoticed was impossible for her to understand. Even when she'd gone a few days without hearing from Charlie, she never even suspected that it could be because he'd left. But now she knew, and it was like she let him die all over again.

She opened the journal and when she spoke, her voice trembled slightly.]

Charlie is gone. I just want to let anyone who knew him know.
