[So, Harry's last broadcast really shook Kurt. But it shook him right out of his shell, and he's finally ready to talk to Paradisa.]

I haven't been as social here as I should be. I didn't want to be, because that felt like giving in.

But I'm here, for now. And I have to deal with it.

My name is Kurt Hummel. I'm a 19 year old intern for vogue.com. I was a member of my high school glee club. It was the best time of my life, and in my senior year we won Nationals. I was also the first openly gay student at my high school in Lima, Ohio. I love scarves and cars and hospital dramas. Or any kind of drama, really. My best friends are girls named Rachel Berry and Mercedes Jones, even if I don't talk to Mercedes as much as I used to. I used to hate both of them. I live in New York with Rachel right now. I'm not in college, currently. Patti Lupone is my idol. My father is my hero.

Fashion and music are my life.

I'm not sure what else to say, but if anyone wants to talk, I'd like that.

[Chell settles in, puts her feet up on the table that serves her as a desk and starts writing.]

I was a test subject in a labratory, Aperture Science. I was required to test a very important and expensive piece of equipment, which had I not been as stubborn as I am would have resulted in my death. But to make me move faster, sometimes the AI controlling the tests would pipe in a little smooth jazz.

[Not gonna tell him about the turrets yet, or any of the more twisted parts of Aperture.]

You were a test subject? Oh my God. That's awful. I'm so sorry.

[silentrunning]

[Chell's answer, judging by the way her hand doesn't waver as she writes, is calm.]

Yes. That is the only life I have ever known, except for a few scattered memories. I had a brother once.

[righttrack]

Oh my God...

[silentrunning]

[She likes this guy. Though she has no clue why he's upset at her words really, but it seems the response many have... She writes back in an effort to reassure.]

It's all right. It's normal. But at least here I don't have to incinerate my friends.
