[Stephanie would rather not get involved with Joshua, but seeing as Lucrezia is trying to cut ties and asked for her assistance, there's no way she can just ignore this.

During the night, Stephanie left this letter at the mansion. Now, it's time for a filter.]

I don't know if you've found the letter on the gate yet, but I was asked to return it to you and tell you that Lucrezia won't be meeting with you. She knows you won't hurt her or the people she cares about, but her brother doesn't. [Stephanie isn't so sure either, and she doesn't like naming someone Joshua could pin this on... but Lucrezia seemed to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he wasn't completely unhinged.]

So... yeah. She didn't want to leave you hanging. Just passing the message along.

[She has no idea how to end this. Awkward.]

[Sometime later...]

Are you in your room? I did what you asked.

[Her tone says she's in one piece, but she's not exactly happy.

If a tone can say that.]

He could hurt us more than Joshua.

[If only you knew, Lucrezia.]

He'd never want to intentionally hurt you. You know that. Ezio isn't a malicious sort of guy. Dumb and oblivious, sometimes, but he cares.

[Let's not think about killing her father, la la la...]

[ She isn't so sure about the last part after what she did. ]

What will he say to me?

He probably still wants some sort of apology. I think he deserves one. It's... time to move past this, you know?

[ Lucrezia turns to the window, to think. ]

I will hear what he has to say. [ But an apology is something else entirely. ]

Can I squeeze in a "no arguing" request in there, too?

[ She chuckles. ]

I promise to keep silent when I have nothing kind to say.

Much appreciated. Maybe I'll try to get him to play by the same rules.

And you must have him promise not to taunt me. [ She even makes a pout for gravity. ]

I promise to make him promise.

[ She still fiddles with her sleeves. ]

I will tell you the time and place.

I'm invited? [Moderator? Probably for the best, but hoooooooooooooo boy...]

If it would please you. [ Telling Cesare about it too, but not telling Steph that she's telling. ]

I'd like to be present. [So she can smack hands if they get too catty with each other.]

Then you are invited.

It'll be fine. I bet you'll be wondering why you didn't do it sooner.

Perhaps because he seems keen on provoking me.

He would be displeased to hear you say that.

Everyone has their not-so-smart moments. I'm sure he'd at least agree with that much.

I have wondered if that was one of my moments as well.

Probably, leaning towards yes.

[ They talk fancy, but she's still a teenager and he's a big bambino. Lucrezia stands and walks toward Steph. ]

[ She reaches to place a hand on Steph's cheek. ]
