 [At first Danny thought he would be clever by trying to avoid whatever this was.  It was just when he said things, right?  Maybe it didn't apply to writing.]

Help!  Something's gone wrong!
Something is separating me from the throng!

[There is a sudden pause and a loud thump as he throws the journal against his wall.  And then realizes he had to pick it up again and deal with the rhymes if he wanted to get any help.  Reluctantly, he opens the journal again and starts writing hurriedly. ]

Listen to my refrain
I think I'm starting to go insane!
I can't say a word without it turning bad.
Which I don't mind saying is making me mad!
I can't handle this curse,
It just keeps getting worse!
I give up on that promise!  I still hate this season!
Its punishing me with all the rhymes and no reason!

I have heard some ill-written drivel in my time, sir, one encounters it when one's crew of pirates are in a drunken stupor and start talking about their mothers, but that... was one of the worst verses I have ever read.
