030. Broadcast + "Dictated" + Action

[man folks. Adachi is not in a good mood. Why?

1. he spent his birthday stuck in Insolitus for two days with Joshua
2. only Colette actually responded to his call for help... in a way that wasn't LAUGHING
3. the only thing he got out of it was a broken wristwatch... with a useless power he just discovered today completely by chance. Great.

So you know what?

You can all be miserable with him.

He searched what the castle had to offer for music, trying to find some truly annoying j-pop from his last year in Japan. And boy. Did he find some. Definitely not the worst or most annoying song in his country's horrible music scene (there are way worse, trust him on this), but it did a good job trying to annoy the crap out of him over that summer in Inaba... just because he could never get it out of his head.

So hey, you know those radios Mark gave everyone?

On a certain easy to find frequency, they'll be playing this. On a loop.

For two hours.

Yeah you thought Mark's taste in music was bad? Ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha.

And if you think you can escape by turning your radios off and just sticking to the journal?

Wrong.

Because a certain someone's also gone and made himself comfortable in the games room, journal open next to him as he catches up on some Cutie Pure... audio blaring. At full volume. So you're going to be hearing music like this, only slightly different blaring out of your journal as you flip the page.

And you know what, even when he's done that episode?

He's just going to watch more magical girl bullshit. Maybe some of those popular pointless dance sequences.

Because fuck y'all, his birthday was the worst. He didn't expect or want anything except peace and quiet... but some acknowledgement that he was in a place he'd never seen before, scared and lost with an escaped and dangerous fugitive, would've at least been nice.]

I missed this new season back home due to circumstances. Nice to see the castle has it on hand.

[that's the only thing he bothers to say to signify it's him. And no he doesn't sound very pleased, even if he is genuinely glad the castle has this stuff.

Feel free to come bug him in the game room or over the journal. He'll likely be a grumpypants all day.

Well, the sudden flying motion of Adachi's journal isn't a new trick, a motion that has it landing open on top of his head.

The feedback noise coming out of the journal would be the new trick. Have fun with that, Adachi, because there's a slight feeling of pressure keeping the journal there.

Duke's standing in the doorway of the game room, holding his journal open against his side while he produces that feedback noise into it, magic flickering about his hands as he listens for a reaction. He'll drop the spell and the feedback after that.

He doesn't seem bothered by that screech, but he does looks grumpy and like he just woke up. ]

Congratulations, you've pissed off a mute Necromancer who just got his spells back. After almost the full two hours are up, Jade has located Adachi and has murderous intent hiding behind a smiling expression.

Seeing that you are, in fact, the source of this horrendous godawful... Whatever it was, Jade sets to writing in his journal. After a moment, words would appear on Adachi's journal and Jade's journal would snap closed. The words were glowing gold, reading:

'Grant Mine Enemies A Final Rest Flame Burst'

[End Filter]

They twisted and turned into a glyph as Jade exited the room.

The glyph on Adachi's journal then proceeded to spew fire.]
