I know what this place has taken from me, but for a short time, it took something else. I am almost envious of those that the castle has taken memories from. To forget, to have never experienced horrors, love, family even.

I know I should not be. I am lucky to have those I have here, but still for those days, it was like a weight was off my shoulders.

Castles are a commonplace, but everything else is different.

Oh! So you lived in a castle, huh? Does that mean you had a tailor or something like that ... ?

We made our own clothes, sewn our own dresses.

Whoa, really? You can do all that yourself? [she sounds impressed]

That's really awesome. I thought about learning how to do that kind of stuff while I'm here, but I guess I just never really got around to it. I'm usually busy with the clinic, or something ...

What sorts of dresses do you make?

Dresses highborns wore back home, mostly with find needle point.

I'd like to see them, sometime ... !

In my world, noble people wear silk robes with different patterns painted on them.

I bet they are lovely.

Yeah, they're really pretty. I got to wear a really nice one on a mission once ... I don't normally go for pink, but it was gorgeous.

Is it hard to make them by hand? The dresses, I mean.

I have been sewing since I was young. Some of the stitches may be complicated, but if you can handle a needle and can cut the fabric, no, I do not believe so.
