(OOC: Continued from this log --> Snow's Arrival)
[Snow continues to sit there in shock...asking herself questions and longing to find their respective answers...then suddenly, she notices a book. It hadn't been there minutes before...had it?]
[She looks over curiously...her mind wandering from her heartache for a moment.]
A book?
[The book is as normal looking as any other. A hardcover book with black binding along the side. She opens it to the first few pages, then curiously proceeds to flip all the way through.]
This looks like...a journal? [The book is filled with thoughts and feelings. Of course. A journal. But it isn't just any journal.. Snow notices that the words are shared from one person to another. People exchanging conversation? She concludes that the journal must be magic. Suddenly, she has a hopeful idea.]
Maybe.. [She finds a quill on a nearby table and begins to write.]
~[Filtered to Charming]~
Charming... If you're here in this cursed land, please write back. [Snow fears that this is the land that Regina cursed she and her loved ones to.] Even if you don't recognize my name...Please... write me back anyway. I need to know that you're alright. [She catches her breath as a single tear drips off of her cheek and falls onto the page. She quickly wipes her cheek as not to soil the page any further.] I'm here, and I remember you. I remember everything. Regina told me that I wouldn't remember you...or my life in our land, but I do...
..and I will find you...always.
Love,

Curious... and it's magic? It seems that people talk back and forth through it as a means of communication.
[She guesses that there are other journals like it in possession of the residents of this place.]

[She manages a small smile...looking down at the journal. She may as well keep it. There doesn't appear to be a name-- Her eyes widen as she lifts the book closer to her face to get a better look. She notices that "Snow White" is clearly embossed on the inside of the front cover. She is absolutely taken aback by this.]
Or perhaps...it found me...?
[She runs her fingers over her name on the cover..so strange. What kind of world is she really in? Surely this is not the world that Regina had intended for her...]

I'm sorry, but I don't believe I caught your name?
I'm Snow White. [She courteously extends her hand to the girl.]

[She laughs softly at the girl, responding to her slightly unexpected gesture by curtseying.]
Very nice to have met you. Your name is quite lovely as well.

You're equally as pretty.
[Snow smiles sincerely at the little girl.]
I'm not quite sure how my mother decided on my name. [She pondered this for a moment.] Perhaps my pale skin reminded her of the white snow. [Snow's mother died when she was very young. Though her Father raised her with all the love in the world...it always brought some degree of sadness to her heart when she spoke of her mother. She never got to experience her mother's love.]
no subject
But snow is cold. Are you cold?
no subject
[Snow laughs...unable to hold back a gentle smile. She doesn't realize it, but this lovely little girl is lifting her spirits tremendously.]
...But I do enjoy the winter time. Perhaps that is something that my mother and I have in common.
[She smiles thoughtfully... She would like to imagine this to be the truth, anyway.]
no subject
You should visit Fendor. It's snowing there all the time.
no subject
Hmm..how curious...perhaps I will.
[Her smile fades slightly as her thoughts begin to wander. All of a sudden, her mind drifts to her daughter. Where is she now? She knows that her husband must be here in the land...somewhere. She had heard his voice. But where is her newborn daughter, Emma? A million panicked thoughts race through her mind at once.]
Right now, I'm looking for someone. I must find him first. Then... maybe we can visit this place together.
[She attempts to muster a smile...but this time, her heart just isn't in it.]

I surely hope you're right, dear.
[She nods, her smile growing slightly at the sound of Sophie's optimism.]

Her name is Emma, and she looks just like her father.

Yes, it does. I actually gave him the name myself.. [She chuckles.] It's quite the story if you'd like to hear it.

[Her mouth begins to twitch into a slight smile...]
One day when I spotted the carriage of a wealthy-looking couple traveling the scenic road, I decided to make a move. At the time, I desperately needed a bit of extra money for food, you see. I cut down a tree far ahead of them, so that when they reached it, they'd have no choice but to stop and remove the obstruction from the road. As they stopped and a gentleman jumped out to remove the log, I swiftly swiped a bag full of gems from the inside of the carriage, and attempted to escape on horseback. The burly gentleman then proceeded to pursue me. Eventually, he caught up to me and threw me off my horse...I narrowly escaped him, but he vowed to find me...to get back his gems. [She laughs softly. What was once an unfortunate event is now a fond memory.]
Days later, I was traversing the forest like any normal day, and it happened. I was snatched up into a snare. It caught me completely off-guard. I was positive that it was the Queen's men...but that wasn't the case. You know who it was?
It was the handsome gentleman from that fancy carriage. He had kept his promise. He had found me alright... and I was trapped. [By now, that small smile had stretched widely across her face.] He just laughed as I struggled...and it absolutely disgusted me! Oh how I couldn't stand his attitude! [She laughs, shaking her head.] He taunted me until I was driven to sarcastically calling him "a real Prince Charming." I soon learned that he was to be married to the woman that he had been traveling with. An arranged marriage as I had suspected! In the pouch that I had stolen was the ring that he would propose to her with, and he was determined to get it back. I proudly stated that he was too late. I had sold it! I began to think that I would get away with this and have the satisfaction of seeing him suffer! Not quite. He threatened to turn me over to the Queen if I didn't help him retrieve it, and so our journey began. By the end of this journey...I found myself falling in love.. It's rather hard to explain. There's a lot more to the story, but perhaps I'll save that for another time. [She offers Sophie a warm smile.]
no subject
You had an incredible journey. I'm very happy for you.
no subject
Indeed...That journey and the ones that followed changed my life. Though we went through so much, I wouldn't change a thing.
Thank you, sweetie.
[She smiles cordially as she looks down at the little girl with genuine curiosity.]
Perhaps you've got a story of your own you'd like to share? I'd quite like to learn a little more about your life before you arrived here.
no subject
She and the boy got to be very good friends. She made friends with his brother, a sick girl and a prince. They all had adventures together. One day, a dark figure tried to hurt the other children. The girl protected them with all she had.
That was the end, but not forever. I met them all again later.
no subject
What a lovely story... I'm so happy to hear that it ended well and that all of the friends were able to reunite.
Ohh, adventures..How exciting!
[She laughs. She and Charming have had their own fair share of adventures. Perhaps this would be yet another to add to their list of ever-growing memories.]
How brave!.. You would make quite the princess. [She smiles thoughtfully at Sophie.]

This Asbel seems like an interesting fellow. You said that he joined you on your adventures.... Is he your best friend, by chance?

This is hard. He'd just gotten used to her being gone, and now she's back again. It's good, and there's a swoop of happiness in his gut, but it still hurts to be forgotten.
Or maybe not. He can test, just to see--]
Ms. Blanchard?
no subject
I'm Snow...Snow White. I believe you've mistaken me for someone.
[Snow half-smiles sympathetically at the young boy. He looks a bit confused himself. It seems as if he's seriously hoping that she is indeed "Ms. Blanchard"...and she really hates to disappoint him.]
I was supposed to be... cursed. But now, I'm not so sure...I was told that I wouldn't remember anything, but that isn't the case.
[She frowns..still thinking about the possibility that Charming has lost his memories of her...or worse...he's not even in this land.]
no subject
I didn't, but that's okay. I can explain it later.
[He sticks his hand out to shake. It's a slightly awkward moment, because he was closer with her the last time she was here, but he wants to be reassuring.]
My name's Henry.
no subject
[With a friendly smile, she reaches out to shake his hand. He seems to be a very sweet kid, regardless.]
[She nods.] Nice to meet you, Henry.
no subject
So, this is Paradisa. First, you should know that this isn't the curse the Evil Queen put on you. It's something else, a whole different kind of magic.
no subject
Paradisa, huh?
[Her brow furrows as she thinks for a brief moment, then a small smile brightens her expression.]
Well, it's certainly a relief to be here...after hearing her describe that curse. I can only imagine the horror...

no subject
Well, considering the sorts of evil magic that we've been exposed to over the years... I feel sure that it's not something that Charming and I..and Emma..[A visible wave of worry sweeps over her.] can't handle.
[That small smile fades slightly...her thoughts being interrupted by a sudden realization. She shakes her head, looking at the young boy strangely. Did he say Evil Queen? She hadn't yet mentioned Regina to Henry...How does he know..]
Pardon me, but you mentioned an Evil Queen?
[She tilts her head with genuine curiosity.]
How did you know about her?
no subject
He takes a deep breath.]
Because she's my mom.
no subject
Impossible... Isn't it?]
Regina? My stepmother... is your mother?
[Snow is having great difficulty believing this, but she will hear Henry out. She doesn't understand the magic that this land wields, after all. Maybe it's possible? ..Maybe it has something to do with the curse. Regina's curse. Although, if that were the case, the curse would have to be in effect right now...or would have to have already happened. (...But she arrived in this "Paradisa" before the curse even had a chance to take her away...And apparently, Paradisa isn't part of Regina's curse.) The only other possible scenario, she concludes, is that she must be in a realm where people are taken from different times..different points in life...Some future, some present, some past. Whatever the case, Henry definitely has her wondering.]
[She shakes her head, blocking out her rampant thoughts momentarily and returning her attention to Henry. She talks aloud, but partially to herself...not expect Henry to understand everything that she's speaking about.]
I just- I don't see how she could have found love again after Daniel...let alone started a family. After Daniel's death, she changed.
[A lump forms in her throat as she thinks about the horrid wrath that her single, innocent mistake had caused Regina's heart to unleash.]
It seems to me, that she had totally shut out love and let the evil take her over..the lust for power. She would have had to shut out love in order to bring such a terrible curse into practice..
Snow
Snow! Snow, you're back!
[Though she may not remember her last stay.]
Are you in a castle?
Charming~
Ch-...Charming! You're okay. [She speaks breathlessly...her relief obvious. She had been so afraid...]
You're here...you remember me.. [She laughs softly through a radiant smile, then pauses for a moment as confusion suddenly sweeps over her.]
Wait..back? I was..- I was here before?
[She's obviously missed something. Or forgotten something, rather.. Maybe that is just something else that this world has taken from her?..Memories of some previous stay.]
[She is a bit confused, for previously, she thought that this may have been the land resulting from Regina's curse. She shakes her head. There will be time for explanations. Right now...she just has to see him.]
Yes! I am.
It's huge...and I have no idea where I am...or how I got here. [There is an audible uneasiness in her voice.]
Snow > Action
[And without further ado, he tucks the journal under his arm and sprints out of his room. His first stop is the lobby. It's where most people seemed to show up. He immediately spots her on the ground, and runs to her side.]
Snow!
[He wraps his arms around her, happy tears streaming down his face. He laughs and gives her a warm kiss, just so pleased to have her back.]
Re: Snow > Action
Okay...I'll be waiting right here.
[She takes a deep breath...releasing it slowly as she closes her journal. His sure words are comforting...
Her instincts are telling her not to wait...to rush off in search of him right this moment..but she fears that the two of them searching for one another simultaneously would only further delay things.]
[Minutes later, Snow hears footsteps coming from around the corner behind her. She turns quickly to investigate, and much to her relief, her gaze meets his. She reaches out toward him..]
Charming!...
[She can't hold back a soft bout of joyful laughter as she, in turn, slips her arms around his neck. Tears of joy run down her cheeks as well...melding with his as she leans into his kiss. A sense of urgency fills her as she squeezes him tighter. He had been near death when she last held him in her arms... Just before she had been thrust into this new world.]
[Loosening her grip and breaking from his tender kiss for a moment, she smiles warmly up at him.]
You found me.
no subject
I will always find you.
[He holds her out a little, looking her up and down.]
Are you okay? Did you just have Emma?
no subject
Yes...not even a half hour ago. I saw that the wardrobe was empty- that she made it through safely. [There was a hint of doubt in that last word.]
I'm fine...but you..
[Her expression suddenly shifts...becoming serious.]
I just- I thought...
[A tear rolls down her cheek as she lifts a hand to gingerly touch his torso. The place he'd been stabbed. The wound had been so severe.. She looks into his eyes quizzically.]
You aren't hurting.. are you?
