Has anyone been in contact with Arya?

There was a commotion earlier, one I heard over the journal, and I have been unable to reach her. [Shhh, ignore the fact that it hasn't even been a day yet. And she would have read more about the situation, but Zelos showed up in Arya's room and freaked her out. Stranger danger!]

[ Allen - written]
[Well, since she can't find Arya, she thought it best to approach this Allen person ahead of time. Hopefully there weren't a million Allens here. Just to be safe, she opts to be vague. She hesitates, then picks up her pen and starts writing.]

Do you know Arya?

[Once she has finished her filters and the sun sets, she makes her way out of Arya's room and down into the lobby. Maybe Arya, after giving it some thought, finally decided to keep her distance after all. She wouldn't blame her for that. While battling her thoughts, and after finding a seat in the kitchen she has no use for, she idly brushes her fingers across a bright blue block making up the Rubik's Cube she wished up earlier.

She could complete it easily, as puzzles were her favorite kind of game, but her heart just isn't in it today. In fact, she's a little lost and not paying any mind to those who may or may not approach. But her journal is open, allowing her to listen for any word from her newly acquired friend.]

Is this yours?

[ Nice reflexes! She smiles as she comes closer with her hand behind her back. ]

Not anymore.

[Her own cube is set aside in favor of her solving the newly acquired one -- and with impressive speed.]

[ She steps closer to lean over the girl and learn the moves. ]

Practice or talent?

Both? Maybe..

[She pauses, then offers it to her. Wanna try, Alice?]

[ Alice takes it but doesn't immediately try to solve it, holding the cube to see the angles first. ]

I'd tell you to see MENSA but that would be mean. They're just a bunch of wankers.

[She isn't watching the cube, but Alice's expression instead.]

MENSA?

[ Alice furrows her brow for a moment, but then she figures it out, deftly going through the motions needed to solve it though still not as fast as the girl. ]

Never mind. Do you enjoy these things?

I like puzzles.

[Regardless of the speed, she seems pleased that Alice is getting the hang of it.]

The entire world is a puzzle if you know how to play it.

[ She's almost there! But somehow it gets harder toward the end. ]

I know.

[Just keep working on that puzzle and ignore her woe face.]

[ She tweaks an eyebrow at her. ]

Are you solving it?

[Oh, she has a lot of time to try. She shakes her head, looking down at the completed Rubik's Cube she brought with her.]

Not yet.

[ Alice completes one side. ]

Are you on the way to, at least?

I don't know.

[She flips the cube, so the red side is up.]

Then you haven't tried hard enough.

The necessary parts. Humans have limitations, unfortunately.

[A small smile, that was true.]

You still have time.

We all like to think so. No one knows for sure.

Do you think you have less time?

Than other people.

Only because there's so much I want to do.

[Her attention, you have it, Alice.]
