[The cold doesn't keep Ada away from the shooting range. Instead of a gun, she's using a bowgun, reloading after each shot and occasionally heading over to the targets to retrieve her bolts.]
Christmas decorations, even out here.
[Nutcrackers are hideous.]
There are worse themes, but nutcrackers? A picturesque castle would have more taste, I'd think.
[[ooc: Open for kissing or just general interaction :) ]]

A c t i o n ; ; Heyyy!!!! :'D
What was this cold weather???
He was supposed to be working hard for the sake of science, but he wouldn't be able to help getting distracted by the stranger with the bow gun. He had never seen one before, so obviously when he saw her shoot the targets, he stared in awe.
Cue the most awkward, nerdiest guy you will ever see in your lifetime staring at her a few paces away, fascinated.]
A c t i o n ; ; Awwww yeah :D
She fires a bolt at the target, hits it dead center (what a show off), and turns to her audience.]
Can I help you?

[He gains an almost childish grin, obviously impressed by the effortless bulls-eye. He almost clapped for her, his clipboard getting in the way.]
Oh sorry! I... I was't uh, interrupting was I?
Never actually seen someone shoot one of those before.
no subject
Really? You'd think people in a castle might not resort to typical firearms.
no subject
Aha. Either that or they have magic, which isn't fair to begin with.
[He adjusts his glasses before shivering.]
A-aren't you cold?
no subject
It's not that cold. When it snows, maybe.
[She lines up another shot.]
You look like you could use a coat.
no subject
[He trails off though, distracted as she lines up that shot. He's making a silly fascinated face and doesn't even try to hide it.]
no subject
[Obvious question, but she'll make small talk as she shoots. Another good one.]
no subject
Oh-oh! Yes. Yes I am!
Sorry... pro-probably should have introduced myself. My name is Wheatley. Cognitive genius at your service!
[He gave her a little cordial bow, not wanting to disturb her too much. After she shoots again, he ]
I take it you're not.
no subject
Ada. I [have killed a few scientists] work with scientists, occasionally, but I'm not one.
no subject
Worked with scientists?
Were you a test subject?
[He raises both his eyebrows. He says it so casually... as if being a test subject was the equivalent as being a lawyer or a doctor.]
no subject
No, I wasn't a test subject. I'm an associate, I suppose you can say.
no subject
[He chuckles.]
Always nice to meet a fellow associate.
[Minus the killing people. Though he notices the nutcrackers watching them, raising an eyebrow. Oop.
He doesn't know this woman, but there's something about her that makes him really want to get to know. Don't mind him getting a little bit up close and personal with her.]
Ada you said? Quite the name... really nice name.
no subject
It's a simple one.
no subject
Well sometimes simple is better. Like me! Wheatley. Just Wheatley. No last name of the sort. None of that.
H-how close exactly? If you-- if you don't mind me asking.
no subject
I work for a government organization, the B.S.A.A. We have a fair amount of scientists that keep us updated on various matters.
[Lies!]
no subject
[Lies too! He's just trying to impress her. Before he'd know it, he really was in her air space, leaning over to press a kiss to her lips. He'll be infinitely sorry in a few seconds, but for now he's just going to enjoy kissing this stranger.]
no subject
[Action]
An interesting choice of weapon.
no subject
Really? It's reliable.
no subject
I don't know of anyone who uses something similar.
[Which only spoke to the state of things on his own world, of course. Syndicate men loved their guns.]
no subject
[She reloads.]
no subject
[Not that he really thought there were many people in the castle practicing the fine art of misinformation, but it was a possibility that at least a few were cagey enough to not want to share their relative strengths and weaknesses when it came to weaponry.]
no subject
no subject
Not at all.
[Most of the people here didn't really strike him as very clever at all, but a man could dream.]

no subject
[Too long in his opinion, but even a week would have been too long, in that case.]
no subject
[See, she has a sense of humor.]
no subject
Ten months.
[Give or take. He wasn't keeping an exacting tally]
