I guess I really shouldn't be surprised. [He just wants you to go off and be HAPPY, Sheena. And Zelos too. But nope. You both have to be DIFFICULT about it.

[And Once-ler thinks THAT will make her happy? Right now, what will make her happy would upset Seles--and she won't do that.]

[As angry as she is, from the earlier part of this conversation, she has a feeling he still wants them to talk. And in a way, she does, too. Just so Once-ler would stop bringing it up.]

[He really does want them to talk. To work things out and be happy. Just because he's resigned himself to a life of misery doesn't mean he wants the same for his friends.

[Sheena isn't as sure about that whole being happy thing with Zelos as Once-ler is, but she does want to get this whole thing settled one way or another.

[Getting it settled really is for the best, however it falls. Of course in the Once-ler's opinion any way this falls would be 'settled' so long as he isn't part of the equation]

Oh, terrific. Guess we're stuck then because I refuse to talk to him at all. And after our last one, I doubt he'd want to talk to me.

[Sadly, the Once-ler is very good at forcing people to see his point of view. But no, he knows he can't do it with Sheena, he can TRY, but he has a feeling it won't work]
