Does anyone know if these decorations... regenerate if they're removed?

[He could, of course, flip back through the network to see, but it's so much easier just to ask. Especially as he's a bit preoccupied going through halls collecting various parts of said decoration in a little wagon that seems to be trailing along without him having to actually pull it.]

I was going to run a little magical analysis, but I'd hate to deprive you all of the castle's good cheer.

Oh, that's probably true. Especially if they're responsible for the sudden displays of affection going around.

It started after the decorations appear, so that seems the logical conclusion. Of course, it might have nothing to do with them at all. That's why I'm investigating.

I heard from someone that it's the decorations that cause it. But... I don't get how.

Well, this is a magic castle. I imagine that's all it takes.

[ Duke is rather confused at the noise following the footsteps, which means he's not going to budge until they pass him. ]

Think someone used fire on one of the... dolls. Uncertain if it came back. [ He's the most helpful on whether things came back or not, isn't he? ]

[Howl stops when he spots Duke, which conveniently stops the cart, as well.]

Fire? That seems a little extreme... But I suppose not everyone is in a festive mood.

It was an out-of-place decoration. Think it was decided to be cause of... the kissing that has become far more frequent.

Ah, I see. Yes, that's what I'm going to try and determine myself... if I can collect a little bit of everything, anyway. There certainly is a variety.

Oh, yes. Garlands and ornaments and things. Not just the nutcrackers, though those are certainly in abundance.

[He sounds only the slightest bit annoyed at having to make that correction. Engineer. Really.]

It's the sad truth of some magic that you have to destroy something to understand it. Thankfully, these don't appear to be particularly unique.

It's almost impossible to not notice someone like Howl, however. Especially with a magic-powered wagon is trailing behind him.

Edgeworth's eyes unwittingly flit to the source of the squeaky wheels and the rather ...interesting fellow guiding it.]

[He stops for a moment, looking to snag another ornament to add to his motley assortment when he realizes he's being watched]

I'll put them back when I'm done.

[Possibly. If there's anything left of them. But he'd hate for anyone to think he was a thief or a wannabe Scrooge]
