So the castle gives us shit for Christmas, right? Too much to hope it'll give me bullets?

[South's game plan for Christmas kisses points is to keep mobile, spending time in the kitchen or the lobby with her nutcracker-in-a-bag before moving on to the next location. She's also dressed to look more appealing, wearing a low-cut tight sweater and fitted jeans.]

[Probably the last person South wants to see at the moment is in the lobby. And he's out of armor.] Way too much to hope for, South. It really is.

What are you doing?

[She glances up at Wash from her space on the couch, and then hastily grabs her back from it's close perch on the coffee table and shoves it a little farther away.]

I can sit in the lobby if I want to. And, guess I'll just have to make do with darts. [Too bad she left her pistol in her other pants.]

Anything special about your bullets that you can't get them at another time?

Nah, just that the castle changes them all into foam and rubber. Not quite as effective.

Pretty lame, yeah. But with how such things work with the castle, maybe you'd just receive even more of those, rather than actual bullets.

Heh, yeah. Just my luck.

[Church finally makes his way to the lobby. He spent a few minutes cussing about the fuckstick that left the humping deer decoration by his door. And yes, he is in armor (not that he has any choice).]

Alright, I'm here...

Considering the time of year, this is the last time you should be hanging out in the lobby...

[Eying South at that reaction with the bag] Something wrong?

Whatever. While I'm here... I want to apologize. For everything I've done since arriving at the castle. I've been an ass, and even if I wasn't in control? I still attacked you this last time.

[Aw, man, armor :( Oh well, Crowely's little game didn't specify, so if she has to kiss the armor, she's kissing the armor.]

[She's dressed for the weather, and hefts a backpack over her shoulder and motions to the doors.]

God, this place is so festive I could puke.

[No way is he going to admit it actually looks nice. He cocks his head as she picks up the backpack. She must be one of those girls that wants to carry a bunch of shit but refuses to actually get a purse.]

[South can't help but shiver. She'd had the chance to come to terms with it a bit during her vacation at the outpost, but the fresh reminder made her think about things she thought she was done thinking about.]

Yeah, well. Castle bullshit. [But that didn't stop her from looking away, still wary in his presence.]

Yeah thanks. [And she's out the door and holding it open for a him a fraction of a moment before pressing on.]

Can't say the town is much better as far as decor goes but at least no nutcrackers.

Doesn't change that it was me doing it. And you're afraid of me. [Moving closer]

[She casts him a glance as he gets closer, hoping she'd moved the backpack well enough out of the way.]

I wonder what all it's done in the past. Like, has it always been nutcrackers, or did we just luck out this year?

To traditional, the castle has to be all hipster and change it.

[trying not think about how weird it is to see a Freelancer just hanging around without any armor. He didn't even know what Tucker actually looked like for years. Weird.]

I know, right? They had to pick like the worst possible thing.

[It was a rare thing, actually, and just a couple weeks ago South wouldn't have been caught dead without armor. Church might not be too pleased with her reasoning behind going without it this particular evening.]

[He's not going to be thrilled, that's for sure.]
Exactly! No self respecting guy will ever feel totally comfortable around a doll that has jaw chomping action and is called a "nutcracker".

[He mimes the chomping motion with his hands as he talks]

[South throws her head back and laughs at that. She reaches a hand up to adjust the pack on her shoulder.]

Right? They're like, the exact opposite of sexy.

Pfft, No. This shit is tropical compared to Sidewinder.

I'm just curious. It didn't look very far from the Castle roof, but I was looking out over a different direction.
