[There's a little girl standing outside the castle in skirt and red hoodie, looking around frantically. Maybe this wouldn't be too strange if she wasn't thoroughly caked with blood, front and back.]

[She's about ready to bolt, but her feet seem glued to the spot. It looks like she's not sure what to start towards--the giant castle, the city in the distance, or whatever trees are around?]

[Clem jumps, having not noticed this person approaching until he called out. A person! A very much alive person, from the looks of it.]

N-no, I'm okay. I'm not hurt.

[She keeps her distance, however.]

Where am I?

Okay, good. I just thought...you know...with the blood and everything...

[He clears his throat.]

Anyway, where you are's a little...confusing. This place is called Paradisa. From what I've found out, both the castle up there, and this whole area are called that. It's sort of a...well it's kind of a world by itself, where people from all over are brought for reasons no one knows. My name's Evan, I've only been here about six days myself, but I've heard there are people who've been here for years.

[He rubs the back of his head.]

Wherever you come from, you...won't be able to go home until the castle lets you. It's...kind of alive, I guess.

[She absently rubs at it with her already dirty sleeve. She just looks more and more confused.]

Alive? We're kidnapped?

You can never be too careful, you know? [That was a relief, at least, and he otherwise wouldn't bat an eyelash at someone being covered in blood anyway. He's seen his adoptive Uncle Cluster's heart up close, not much scares him.]

Pretty much, yeah. I'm...sorry to have to tell you. I was only just told about this myself a few days ago, so I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. No one knows who did it, or if it even was a "who" to begin with. It's...kinda weird, but it's the truth.
