WHOA! You hear that, folks? Even the music's too cold to come out and play today -- Jesus, Paradisa, give a guy a break! ... Hi, there, out there in icicle land. This is Hard Harry, comin' at you with a little somethin' to heat up your evenin' - least, as best I can, all things considered.

To our handful of newbsicles this week, Clementine, Gokudera, and Cronus? Sorry for the chilly reception. And before the rest of you all start groaning at me like snow zombies? Come on, like you could've left that alone.

If all this ice actually inspires you t' do something with yourselves other than huddle around in blankets turning your jawbones into castanets, we've got somebody givin' ice skating lessons this Saturday. For the rest of you, I'm looking for the top ten ways to keep warm - and yes, we already know The Big One. I wanna see you guys get creative. Gimme your favorite stupid human tricks, your best magic spells, some crazy thing your great-great grandpa did when they hadn't heard of electric space heaters, a gadget you made outta crap from the game room.

She's not falling, her boots will keep her from that. But as for skittering around, and occasionally hitting people's doors and the like? Yup. She's doing that, and listening to the music.]

I've always been a fan of the old "set shit on fire" answer to the cold. Nothing like watching a bunch of idiots playing around a bonfire.

We always talked about having a huge fuckin' bonfire at Sidewinder, but there wasn't anything to burn.

Bonfire might not be a bad idea, now that you mention it. I've always been a fan of stuff that goes 'foom' myself. ... What was Sidewinder? Sounds like an amusement park.

Sidewinder is about as far from an amusement park as you could get. It's an ice planet... and the second worst part of the galaxy ever. I was stationed there for a while.

Well after being trapped in an ice cave I can honestly say..cold is not fun. Sterno and rationing melted ice to drink is not my idea of an ideal holiday. But I guess when I was little my mom used to do this thing.... she'd put a blanket near a heater and make cocoa. The old fashioned kind, on the stove, by the time it was ready the blanket would be warm and she would wrap my brother and I up in it and give us the cocoa. It was like having this warm, loving, safe cocoon, I don't know, just felt really good.
