[Elektra is in the lobby drinking the cola provided to her all while watching all of this unfold around her. There's something especially surreal about this change around the holiday season. Usually she can find some justification for the sudden holiday changes, but this time Elektra has nothing. She probably should have paid closer attention to commercials.]

I'm starting to think the castle is going out of its way to be original. ... Unless someone usually spends their holidays like this? [She's genuinely curious.]

Surprisingly no. Frozen castles run by polar bears is new territory.

It is surprising how many do. There's something wrong with you if nothing is entertaining in a magic castle that caters to your whims.

I can't disagree with that, and yet people manage to be overwhelmingly under impressed at times.

I'm guilty of that, but I've seen my share of weird things before I arrived. ...Just not bear and penguins running a castle.

Let's just say I've had a lot of experience in making and drinking hot drinks on the fly... most often when I'm late for something.

[Good thing Elektra likes to be early too. She's holding a teapot she brought down from her room and filling it with bottled water. Surely this will help the freezing problem, right?]

Possibly. It's never really been clear to me if it's magic or something else.

They were evil. This is coming from someone who doesn't throw that word around very often. Trust me when I say we're better off without them here.

[She nods and moves closer, keeping an eye on the bottle]

I've got nothing. I get the winter wonderland thing but I'll be happier when I can actually warm up.

[Once it empties out, Elektra is quick to toss it on the stove, and turn up the flame as high as she could. She's not risking cold tea no matter how hard the castle tries otherwise.]

I feel the same way. I know how to tolerate cold, but I don't see the point in freezing everything. It isn't anyone's normal from what I'm hearing.

[Iced tea is one thing. An ice BLOCK of tea is another. Phoebe nods]

I've heard the same thing. This place just really seems to like going to extremes. Do you remember that massive flood we had?

How could I forget? I had to tread water until the castle decided it was just kidding about trying to drown us.

It was horrible. At least it had the decency to send us a cruise ship.
