I know some of you hate to have more than one person talk about a serious subject at the same time, but bear with me. The door got me thinking too. A few of us already knew we had 'alternates' out there. Apparently I already have two, maybe even three if we're right about that door leading to the proper home for our children.

[There are objects being moved around in the background. Elektra has taken to organizing an already perfectly aligned shelf in the Candy Bonsai.] It makes me wonder if our alternates with the children will ever arrive. [More shuffling before finally:] Or if the children will come themselves.

It might be interesting to compare notes with them. Maybe see what they did to make things work out when they shouldn't have. It would solve the mystery of how our parenting works in an alternate universe that doesn't have a castle ready to hold our hand and give us what we need. That is assuming we can trust any of it.
