[It's late morning, the air is frigid, and there's a lawyer making a fool out of himself in the snow outside the castle.

Standing near what looks like it might have once been intended to be the base of a snowman (and is now little more than a hill of snow), he's cupping his hands around his mouth and shouting--both at anyone who might be around, and into his nearby open journal, too.]

Heyyyy! Anybody want to join a snowman-making contest?? I have supplies!

[Because heck if he's going to do this alone!]

Well! Then you're about due for it, wouldn't you say?

[Although he has no clue what a snowpony would look like, or how she's going to make one with hooves, he's all for it.]

Quite possibly. [she idly rolls a small snowball under her hoof] Mayhaps I can help thee with thine instead?

It wouldn't be much of a contest if we worked together...

[Still, he's considering it. After all, his looks a mess.]

...but maybe you could show me how to make a snowpony?

[yeah, putting that snowman out of its misery might be a good idea.

She nods and pushes the small ball of snow into the open.]

We gather the snow first into an approximate sphere afore shaping it.

So... in normal language, that's "make a big snowball," right?

[He happily starts attempting to pack more snow haphazardly onto the pre-existing ball.]

[that gets a laugh] Yes; that is, indeed, the core of it.

[she helps, putting hooffuls of snow on it, trying to make it more spherical]

Shall we roll it? 'Twill be faster, methinks.

Hey, yeah--good thinking.

[And he begins to push the snowball about instead.]

It's been a long time since I've done this.

[she follows behind, letting Phoenix do all the work]

I am hardly the authority in this particular field either. Working together will most likely prove beneficial. [if one were to consider his own attempt]

[He'll just miss--or choose to ignore--that jab at his "snowman."]
