As you may or may not know today is Peter's birthday. He doesn't want a big party or anything but any well wishes would be appreciated, I'd think.

I was thinking of having that holiday party I mentioned tomorrow, Christmas Eve, does that work for everyone?

[Phoebe has everything set up for a lovely birthday dinner for Peter. She's got candles lit all around the room and with everything covered with ice it's resulted in the most beautiful reflections and shimmering light effects. She's made a nice three course meal... that she hopes stays warm throughout... and has a cake ready WITHOUT candles. The floor may be ice but there's no reason why it needs to stay that way. She'd gotten rose pedals from the staff and strewn them across the floor (after testing to make sure that wouldn't make it too slippery to walk). It might not be exactly what she'd hoped to do for his birthday but she's determined to make it a memorable night nonetheless.

I don't mind the ice that much. Kind of makes me regret all those wishes I made as a kid to visit the North Pole, though. [teasing smile]

I think every kid wished that. I wanted to go see the reindeer fly.

Did you? Maybe you'll get to. You never know in Paradisa. [kisses her cheek lovingly]

I haven't, no. Though I'm not ruling out the possibility for the future.

[She tugs his hand] Come on. Before the salad gets cold.

[he doesn't want all her hard work to go to waste, so he is happy to let her drag him along]

I didn't think you'd mind that I decided to do soup instead of salad. [She smiles. There's warm tomato basil soup and bread sitting at each place setting.]
