I know...you had your reasons Uncle Cluster, but...why couldn't you tell me? My whole life...everything about me is a lie. Am I just some way you could make up for killing him?

I want to be the hero you think I can be, but...I'm not sure if I can. I couldn't make the tough decisions...ended up relying on other people when I should've had the strength to act on my own.

Hi...my name's Evan Sabahnur, codename Genesis. I'm new to the castle. I don't know if many of you...or even any of you are familiar with mutants or the X-Men, but...I'm a student of the school in Westchester, and I came here with something that could be dangerous, if it fell into the wrong hands. It's a suit of armor created to enhance my powers above and beyond what I can do on my own. It was...originally created for a bad guy called Apocalypse. I've got it locked in my closet for now, but...I'm wondering if there's a safer place I could keep it? Once the castle returns to normal, I mean. I don't want to use it unless it's absolutely necessary, but I don't want anyone who could use it to do bad things to get their hands on it either. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I...know what Apocalypse did, I know who he is, and I promise you that I never want to be that. That's why I took off the armor as soon as I could figure out how. Sure, it makes me powerful, but it's symbolic too.

And whether you take it as a threat or an assurance - if you do become him, I will stop you.

I'm just doing the best I can. I'm not a hero yet, but I've chosen not to become a villain.

That's all I could ever ask for. I know I have the same potential, but I'm trying hard not to realize it.

Mr. Deathlok gave a pretty detailed lecture. He said that as potential X-Men, we might have to team up with, or even fight against heroes and villains from alternate times and universes, and that we should at least be familiar with those who chose to remain on Earth in our present, like you did.

It's...nice to know there's another mutant here. I mean...there's all sorts of people with super-powers that I've talked to, but you're the only one who's identified himself as a mutant. Is it really just us?

Wise. I know Mojo has made several incursions into Earth in the past, and will likely continue to do so in the future, and it is always good to know one's enemies.

That's too bad. I think...Professor Xavier might have been here in the past. I found a thesis he wrote in the library when I went to do some reading.
