[Caterina has been using this time to read up on everything she missed while in Paris. Needless to say that came to an abrupt end recently. While she laments losing the chance to read the words of the people she desperately misses, it is also for the best. She needs to move on. It does not take her long to start working out the necessary steps to do so.]

[After that filter Caterina is exiting her room. She has her coat with her in hand since putting it on is a lost cause for her. Whoever she runs into on the way outside will no doubt get suckered into helping her.]

[Maine's asleep in the lobby, journal propped over his face as he lays stretched out on a couch. He's free from the clinic and the cot and bored since the journals got wiped clean of interesting sruff and he's still not recovered enough to continue his normal training regimen.]

[Caterina doesn't realize it is Maine. She simply sees someone with a journal over their head. Considering how often Abel did it during her childhood and in her Paris memories, she can't fight the urge to pull it off and set it down next to him.

She is really hoping this does not wake whoever this is up.]

[ Lucrezia is dancing by one of the stairwells, a ghost with a violin accompanying her measured movements. The lilting violin is often interrupted by her gleeful laughter as she improvises her hand gestures. Having so. much. fun! ]

[Ryotaro's heading on downstairs to get some fresh air outside, because he feels like he's spent way too much time in his room lately.

Eventually though...peering down a corridor at Caterina, curiously.]

He didn't know you were a resident too!]

[Caterina stops to watch her. She can't help smiling at this.]

[Caterina notices the glance in her direction. She smiles. She rarely forgets a face and his was not the exception.]

[ It takes her a few turns before she notices the lone audience, finishing her one movement before she takes a few quick steps toward her, giggling with delight. ]

Come, you must join me.

[Ah, whoops, got caught staring at someone without announcing himself. Rude much? He'll close the distance between them, walking over, then bowing once both as a greeting and an apology.]

Miss Caterina, it's nice to see you again.

I...wasn't aware you were a resident here too.

[Caterina tucks a curl out of the way.] I'm afraid I don't know the steps.

[ She reaches to try and take her hand. ] I can show you. They are simple.

[ironlady]

It's nice to see you again too, Ryotaro. I'm afraid I wasn't a resident at the time we met.

Ahah, oh, I see...

[He'd ask about the whole paris thing, but he's too polite to say anything. If she explains, she does, if she doesn't, he won't mind.]

Does that mean you came back here...after leaving before?

[Caterina allows her to.] If you insist.

That's correct. [Caterina says evenly.] This is my second time here.

[ The woman's hand in hers, she raises it up so their palms meet between them before stepping slowly forward, in a circle. ]

And then, we step aside, turn our bodies and let our hands meet again.

You will catch your death of cold if you venture out without a coat on, let me help you.

[Colette was heading to the Castle to pick up some supplies... but pauses when she sees such a beautiful woman walking. Then... yeeeeah, she realizes that she's staring at a stranger, so she waves awkwardly... as if hoping that'll make it less weird]

[Lightly dozing out of boredome, as soon as he senses someone moving the journal his soldier instincts snap into play and he makes a grab for her wrist.]

[She's handing her the coat.] Just who I was hoping to see. I know there will be nothing to see at this time of year but, I miss the gardens.

Would you join me?

[ironlady]

[Caterina waves once in return if only to alleviate the awkward on Colette's end.]

[Caterina follows her directions carefully.]

[there is a (questionably) chivalrous gentleman plucking Caterina's coat out of her hands at the base of the stairs-- did she see him?! maybe he was laying in wait like a NINJA once he spotted her coming down to surprise her.]

--Might I help you with that, my lady...? [complete with cheesy flourishing bow, of course.]

[Once he catches it, Caterina is trying to tug it back. It goes as well as one may imagine.]

[She honestly did not. Caterina barely resists the urge to laugh at all this.]

[heh heh. see Caterina, you humor his stupidity. this is why their relationship is perfect forever.
