The tree is small, but decorated. .. if you wanted to see it.
[ Gifts ]
[ Everyone receives a very simple message, written in her typical elegant script, on decorative stationary. For her acquaintances, the letters read:
These are for you.
Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays.
Abby

[ Now, to those who gave her a gift: ]
Receiving gifts is not something I am used to, but I am thankful for them.
Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays.
Abby
[ Being delivered with both notes are small, but personal, gift baskets that she put together herself. They each contain an assortment of candies, cookies, a scented candle (either apple cinnamon, gingerbread or peppermint -- leaving the choice of which to the muns) and a crystalline ornament shaped like a snowflake. But along with those, a few people were given an extra gift.
[ Extra Gifts ]
Arya's has two extra gifts, despite the fact she already gave her a few earlier in the month. The first is wrapped, but it is a board game (Scrabble). There's a noted taped to it that reads: It is a popular word game, meant to be played with a group of people. You should invite your friends to play. But she not-so secretly means she should invite her mother and sister to play. The second was more of an impulse buy to ensure Arya would have a gift to open Christmas day from her, so it isn't overly grand. It's a cloak with several pockets hidden inside of it. Inside of one of these pockets is another note: To hide your keepsakes during your adventures.
Ezio's gift is a trinket box with a hidden compartment, where he can store any number of items. Inside of it, written in French (be proud of her, Ezio), is: I hope that you find this useful. The key is also with it.
Mavis' basket has a small decorative box in it with a black bow on top. It contains two pretty treasures.
Sophie gets this very pretty charm, complete with a delicate silver chain so she can wear it as a necklace.
It's.. nice, to spend a holiday with a lot of people.
I don't think I would mind if I had to celebrate Christmas back home. In fact, I almost hope I do. More than myself, Owen would have a lot of fun giving gifts and receiving them. He is better at giving gifts than I am.
But I could learn how. It's important to find the right gift.
