[BACKDATED TO CHRISTMAS DAY...

She's far too excited to write her feelings down, so the entry is dictated rather excitedly.]

I remember!

I remember her! My lusus, Pounce de Leon! I don't know how or why but suddenly I can remember everything about her. She was the most adorable kitty cat ever seen, and the best lusus a troll could ever ask for. All of our adventures together, all of her lessons on how to hunt, everything!

Oh my gosh, she was so great. Her fur was always the softest fur ever, and so warm to cuddle with. She would bring home the best presents, and she was always grateful of the presents I brought her. We even went looking for the Fountain of Cute together! She means the world to me.

I can't explain what happened, and I don't feel any different. All I know is that I remember her now and I won't ever forget her again! This is the best human holiday ever.

[Nepeta's in such a good mood that she can't just sit still. She can be found running all around the castle, wishing everyone a great day and taking in the spirit of the holiday. There's very little that could bring down her mood after regaining the memories she holds most precious to her.]

(OOC: Nepeta's gift from the castle was a loss change! She now remembers everything about her lusus, but what she doesn't know is that she's traded away her feelings for a certain kranky, red-blooded troll. This is also your chance for some Nepeta smooches! Get them while you can!)

[Hey Nepeta! Do you see the very tired Jane over on one of the lobby couches half asleep with sugar kind of everywhere on her? You know what would be a great idea? Waking her up as enthusiastically as possible to tell her about Ponce de Leon.]

Without any warning, Nepeta leaps and pounces her, sitting atop her rather excitedly. This news totally calls for interrupting any and all naps, after all.]

[Wide eyed and yet very tired, Jane stares up at you.]

...Oh! Oh. Um. Merry Christmas, Nepeta...[She's just gonna rub at her eyes for a bit here.] Um...alright. You saw Santa Claus?

Well, I seem to have been mistaken in my assumption that my Christmas present was unique. Have you heard of many others having their losses returned, Nepeta?

I don't think so. Then again, I haven't really been reading the journal today. I've just been so excited and way too busy remembering things about Pounce. Did I ever tell you about Pounce? I can tell you all about her right now if you want!

Oh gosh, where do I start? Furst and furmost you have to understand that Pounce was the most adorable kitty cat ever. And not one of those little kitty cats. She was a big one! Like... like a lion! She was really fierce, too. She taught me how to hunt like I do now.

The most impurrtant! I wish you could meet her. I wonder if Purradisa would ever bring a lusus here. But even if she can't come, I can still tell you all about her!

I would give anything to have her here. Even if she was just a sprite. I haven't seen any other lususes though, but I will keep my hopes up.

The castle is kind of weird about the stuff that it does though. I mean, there aren't a lot of reasons for what it usually does, is there?

No, there aren't. I guess I'm better off not questioning it and just accepting it as a thing that happened. I don't want to jinx it, after all.
