#001 - The New Adventures of Supergirl
[Kara Zor-El is having quite the day.
One minute she's coasting over Metropolis, and the next she's dangling from the ceiling in the lobby. Literally dangling by a giant red ribbon, twisted around her body from shoulder to ankle, complete with a giant Christmas bow somewhere behind her back. She swings there for a moment, taking in her surroundings, and then she gives a huff of exasperation, blowing her bangs out of her face. Is this a Toyman thing? It seems like a Toyman thing. Somehow.]
Alright, Toy-boy. This is the worst yet.
[She looks around herself again, this time scanning through walls. She can see through solid objects and at microscopic to telescopic levels, but she can't see behind her own head, where there is a huge tag that reads "From Paradisa, To Stephanie".]
Five seconds before I start melting things. Five, four, three...

Stephanie stares, and then reaches up two gloved hands to rub her eyes. Was she out in the snow too long or something?
Nope. Kara's still there.
Loud. She will be loud, because she can't do a normal volume right now.]
Kara?
no subject
Hey Steph, what's up?
[ Then she'll wiggle, just enough to test the ribbon. Yep, magic. No dice on just snapping them. ]

[Her eyes keep drifting to that tag. She expected maybe a new bike or some memento from home, not anything like this.
Was she really so freakin' lonely that the castle took pity on her? Ouch.
Whatever. She'd take it and dwell more on the implications later. It didn't change the fact that Kara was here, looking pretty ridiculous.]
Please tell me you're not stuck.

[ She wiggles for a second longer, then just settles for brute force; she yanks hard, freeing an arm, and then manages to untangle the rest of her. Floating in midair, she reaches to untangle her feet. Don't look up her skirt, Steph! ]
But alright, what's up BESIDES me?
no subject
I'll tell you everything in exchange for a hug.
[Because holy crap has she missed her :( ]

I...wouldn't recommend that. The lobby is really flammable. I found that out myself just a few weeks ago. Do you need a hand getting down from there?
no subject
Noted! And I think I got it -- but if you look up my skirt, I'm gonna hang you off the chandelier by the back of your shirt, kid.

[Evan's legs then begin to lengthen and grow, so he's essentially standing at eye-level with Kara, his legs looking a bit like gray stilts under him.]
Now I couldn't look up your skirt even if I wanted to. I'll stay up here 'til you're safely on the ground.
no subject
You're not the average kid, then. Thanks.
[ And she pulls herself loose, staying afloat unfettered. ]

I know a Stephanie.

But no matter how frustrated she is right now, she'll humor the girl.]
Huh? Oh. I do, too, and she would be reaaaaally handy right about now.
no subject
I could find her for you, since you are addressed to her.
no subject
Addressed to her? What?
[She gets herself loose and drops to the floor, turning around almost cat-like in midair to land on her feet. The tiles crack under her feet like thin ice. Whoops.
And then she reaches behind her to find the tag, having noticed it caught in her cape.]
What the heck is this?

Kara
Kara? It's Lana. Are you doing all right? It sounds like you made quite the entrance.
Lana
Lana! I'm great, and yeah, it was a little weird –– apparently I'm Steph's Christmas present? You know Steph, right, my friend in Gotham?
Where are you?
Kara
[ She'll scribble down directions to her house from the castle. ]
This is where I've been staying. Will you come by when you have the time?
Lana
[So colour her surprised, but chill.]
But are you kidding? I have all the time in the world, especially for my favourite aunt. I can explore this place later. I'll be there. How soon is too soon?
Kara
