( STABLES FILTER (OUTSIDE!); )
[ No doubt anyone Anne has spoken to up until now is aware that she had wanted to throw a New Year celebration, but this is probably not what she had in mind (honestly, the servants were to do all the work). In fact, she had nothing to do with any of this nonsense, yet there she is at the stables, running around and getting everything ready, helping where she can.
Any muck clinging to the bottom of her skirts is marvelously ignored, and what is there to mourn anyway, when her clothing is no more than a servant's? An esteemed servant, to be certain, with flowers weaved into her hair and her dress a soft grey-blue, but it matters not, because there will be the occasional smudge of something here and there and utterly ignored in lieu of her work. It's only thanks to the snow, which also soaks into the bottom of her skirt to weigh it down, that she is not even dirtier!
Anyone else who might be at the stables to help set up the coming celebration may note that Anne will always be there to offer to help with her head bowed, and should any passerby simply want a steed, she'll also be quick to offer assistance.
Anything you should need, when she is not tying up a decoration on a ladder or laughing with another servant, here is Anne Boleyn, with an elegant curtsy and downward gaze. ]
[ ooc; Open to anyone and everyone who's outside and near the stables! ]

I don't even know what this cr will be dfskldfs
Hey. You know what the hell is going on?

You do not know? There's to be a celebration, if it please you, milady. You've arrived a little early, but it will be soon!
no subject
[But the curtsying and milady confuses her.]
no subject
[ She straightens, but keeps her eyes lowered. ]
But it is never too soon for some ale. Might I fetch you some?
no subject
no subject
[ NO NOT LIKE BEER. Beer can suck it! You get ale.
No just kidding, she will dart over to the castle and wish for a keg of beer if that's what the lady asks for. It might take her a minute or two to open it and end up with a frothy tankard, though. ]
no subject
Would you like some help?
no subject
Perhaps, there are some streamers that need to be arranged high up there, and I am not so sure of my footing when climbing, sir.

Monsters? Truly? You must have countless tales to tell!
no subject
I'd be happy to share them sometime.
no subject
Yes, of course, when we are not making way for our most gracious Lady and the wonderful festivities.

I would not dare to assume so much. I am but a simple woman, after all.

And still yet, how might I compete with a hunter of monsters?

Madam, what might I do for you? I am entirely unpresentable, begging your pardon.
no subject
Haaaay.
no subject
Oh, hay? There's plenty of that around! She disappears inside the stables for a moment, then reappears moments later dragging out a bale of hay. Hnnngh, no, where are the big strong men when she needs them?
Huffing a bit as she sets it down in front of the donkey and crouches down to undo the ties. ]
Is this enough, Madam?
no subject
He doesn't particularly enjoy them, and Christmas was tolerable in her cheer. So this? It only serves to confuse him. Though despite it, he's quick to step away from her in concern]
Are you alright? I apologize, I should have kept a better eye out.
no subject
YEAH SURE, JUST KNOCK YOUR FAKE MOTHER-IN-LAW INTO THE ICY MUD!Fortunately she just stumbles a bit in her hurry to avoid actually getting bumped into, but at his apology, Anne shakes her head fervently and takes her skirt in a low curtsy. Because wow he does not even sort of look like a commoner! Nobility and royalty walk a certain way, yo. ]
Not at all, milord, it's I who should be apologizing! We are still setting up, but if there's anything I can help you with in the meantime, please do not hesitate to ask! Is it a steed you require?
no subject
As it is, he barely notices the stablehand other than absently noting it's a woman, so much concentration he is giving to checkin out dem horses.]
sshh i'm asleep
Milord Micheletto!
[ FRIEND.
She nearly prances over, clasping her skirt above the snow and then stopping just near him so she can curtsy, tapping her toe against the stable's ground. ]
How might I help you? You're early for the festival.
shhh i'm at work!
Your Majesty ...
[What is she doing -- what did she call him? He looks her over with an extremely quizzical expression. He can't handle this place, for real. He assumes she's either teasing him in some irritating way that he can't do anything about, or it's the castle's doing, so he's going to try his best to ignore it.]
What festival?
damn and i missed the rebellion!
Why, the one that brings in the New Year, of course!
no subject
Pardon me, Your Majesty. I had not heard.
no subject
With another 'Ur craycray' look, though more borderline smile, she shrugs her shoulders a bit. ]
Why do you keep calling me that? It is not yet time for the festival!
no subject
This is how you introduced yourself to me, is it not? Or have you decided I am to call you by your given name again?
no subject
[ She tilts her head, then lowers it again when she realizes she might be acting overly coy with him. It's hard for her to restrain her personality so often, gosh. ]
I recall not, milord. Begging your forgiveness, but I am of low birth. What I said must have been in jest, brought about by wanting to impress you so! You may call me anything at your pleasure.
no subject
There's no way in hell she was just some servant girl the first time they met. No way. The way she carried herself, the way she spoke to him ... unless she is an actor? But whoever heard of a female actor!
Regardless, he doesn't like being played.]
I will call you nothing, then. That is my pleasure.
no subject
[ She sounds only slightly miffed at such dismissal, but mostly sad. Hurt feelings! She thought they were both servants, come on, bro! ]
My most humble apologies if I have displeased you in some way, milord. Do you need assistance retrieving your steed, or shall I fetch some food or drink?
no subject
No. I do not need a servant, nor do I desire one.
no subject
As you say. I shall begone.
[ Weh. Turning to scuttle off to go pretend to clean something so she doesn't cry. ]
no subject
Shrugging, he goes back to looking at the horses.]
