[Bunnymund is quite used to having Weird Things happen to him. It's just what you deal with when you become a Guardian, and you need to roll with the punches. That's not to say he wasn't worried when he woke up in an actual bedroom in a place he'd never been before. Far from it. He was VERY worried.

It didn't help that his tunnels didn't get him anywhere familiar either. Still, he's held off on panicking completely until night has come, and Paradisa's big blue moon looms high in the sky. Anyone who believes in the existence of the Easter Bunny will see a 6'1 rabbit, standing on the roof, apparently having a conversation with the moon. A very one sided conversation]

Okay. I get that you have your cryptic ways and we just need to deal with them, but I really don't understand what I'm doing here. This isn't Earth, and I thought I was needed there more than anywhere. So if you could give me a few pointers, explain what you want me to do here? She'll be apples. [Silence] Anything at all. [Muttering a little darkly to himself, he finally opens the journal, watching the words form into it as he speaks. They might not be able to HEAR him, but he wonders if this stupid magical book will let them see the WORDS he speaks. Okay. Speaking to the mortals. He can do this]

I've been leafing through this magical book since I rocked up in this place, and I figure I've got most of this mess figured out. But I've got an important question. Why're you talking about New Years? Is it January here? [Because if it is, well, that's his prep time sliced MORE than in half]

I read most of it for myself. Got a lay of the land soon as I got here.

I did not see Saint Nicholas myself during the Christmas season, but that is nothing out of the ordinary, as I am of the Jewish faith. .... As for the other cultural holiday spirits, I have only been here since November, and am likely not to be of much help in that area of expertise.... Though I will certainly answer any other questions within my prism of understanding.

Oh, so you must have seen the Holiday Armadillo, then. [If he's kidding or being serious is a little hard to tell]

Oh yes, well, I did see him, but he said something about having a bench to warm.

[It's the best of games, and it's really hard to do it when most of the other Guardians don't get it and the only other people you usually talk to are kids]

Sounds about right for him. He's probably sharing it with the Groundhog. [Effing Groundhog]

I suppose there isn't much for him to do on the other 364 days. You don't need much preparation to put your head out a hole.

And he still gets all the glory for Springtime.

It puts one somewhat in mind of how most people only pay attention to televised news broadcasts for the weather forecast, which is almost always incorrect.

It's all bloody hype at the end of the day. I work my tail off bringing Springtime to the world, and all he has to do is get out of a hole. [It cannot be explained enough, how much Bunny hates that damn Groundhog]

I see. .... Hence your earlier remark on being pressed for time. Do you require assistance?

Come closer to Easter, I wouldn't mind it. If I'm still here, there's still a lot a children here.

Indeed - it does not seem that there are many opportunities here for children to be children. [he sighs, thinking of one in particular who was forced to grow up far too quickly, castle or no castle]

The worlds they come from are pretty terrible. They've all had to grow up too fast. [He sounds genuinely upset about this, it's not right. Kids NEED to be kids]

Perhaps, here, they can find the chance to make up for the time that was taken from them. I'm beginning to see that the castle can temper the terrible things it tosses our way with wayward wisps of whimsy.

I'm not the best at whimsy. [His eggs do not count, they are BADASS eggs]

But I can do something to make their lives more bearable. Happier. More hopeful.

Myth and folklore say otherwise, sir, but you would certainly know better than them all combined. I wish you the very best of luck.
