[Evan was not the musician his cousin is, but that hadn't prevented him from soliciting guitar lessons from Jono between classes, when he could pin the elusive Professor Starsmore down for an hour. Today, he's attempting to put those lessons to use as he sits in the music room, an electric guitar in his lap, as he plays a song Jono taught him. He's a little flat, and his playing isn't as skillful as his teacher's, but it definitely sounds like he's trying his hardest.]

Umm...does anyone know how to play the guitar? I was getting lessons from my cousin Jono back home, but we only got in a few before I came here. I'll pay you back however if I can, if anyone can teach me.

It's nice to meet you too, Break. My Uncle Cluster first gave me the name Genesis, he said that it meant that I'm "a beginning, instead of an end", though I'm still not entirely sure what he meant. Still, the name stuck.

Yeah, there are definitely people with worse codenames, where I come from. Heh...there's a girl named Ellie who's codename is "Negasonic Teenage Warhead"

[He chuckles. He hadn't been entirely truthful with Break, knowing exactly why Fantomex had given him the name Genesis. It was because he wanted Evan to become a hero, the antithesis of his genetic predecessor, Apocalypse.]
