[Filtered away from anyone who would use this for ill will]
Last autumn there was an expedition to a region called Lastlook, in which the travelers unwittingly unleashed a virus that had been contained there. This virus, the Seven Deadly Sins Virus, had previously brought the downfall of another castle by the name of Cair Draconis.
The people on the expedition were unaware that they had contracted a virus. It remained incubating in their systems until November, in which it was unleashed as an epidemic across the castle. The virus took form in seven different strains that were based off the Christian Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride. The type of strain a person developed seemed dependent on their personality- and which sin best embodied them. They became essentially personifications of each sin and had the desire to spread it- which was done through a touch on the forehead.
The cure took form in the presence of seven items that were hidden across the castle. Each one has been collected and is currently residing in the clinic with instructions on each use. Unlike Cair Draconis, Paradisa was able to avert the disaster before it was too too late.
[He takes a breath now that the quick recap is done]
A more detail description of the events that occurred and the virus has now been completed. I have left a copy of my reports in both the clinic and the library, so hopefully if this is to occur again the people of the future have clearer and more timely information than we were given.
As for Lastlook, once a friend of mine wakes up in the clinic I plan to set out there to put up clearer warnings of what that cave contains. [he knows it's smarter to wait for spring, but honestly he needs a distraction at this moment. Though ugh, since he knows he won't be allowed to go alone-] If there is anyone that wishes to accompany, I request you be experienced in winter travel, combat and that it be no one that arrived to the castle after the virus occurred for I do not wish to risk another outbreak.
Thank you, that is all.

[WAITING HOUSE, WAITING]
Walker
Ha! And in record time. So. Why now?
Dr. House
Because I feel like getting away from the castle for a little bit, and this needed to be done anyway.
Walker
Dr. House
May I take some time off then? I'm not leaving until Ino is conscious, so the clinic shouldn't be understaffed.

Walker
No.
Dr. House
Why not?!
Walker
[ And back to normal: ] And I have yet to hear a good reason for you to go.
Dr. House
[There's a huff and a pause. As much as Allen likes to think he's an independent dude, House could fire him. And for some godforsaken reason, he has some level of trust with him]
[Not a whole lot, but SOME]
I received word that an old friend of mine is dead. They are far from the first I've heard of dying, nor do I think they'll be the last. In fact...the past year has been full of receiving news like this, one after another.
So I wish to get away for a little while. Spend some time away from the castle walls to clear my head and sort through my feelings on my own terms so I can handle them better.
Might as well get something useful done while I do that.

Dr. House
Yes, that's possibly one of the least tactful ways to respond to such a thing. Good job.
Walker
Dr. House
And yes, I knew he was going to die eventually seeing as he's from a thousand years before me and all the legends. I just...thought he would have a few more decades.

[ Sigh. ]
You have a week. Come in distracted and you can march right out the door. Don't bother too much with written signs. Chances are the schmuck who finds the place next won't be able to read them. For that matter, they'll probably take the biohazard sign as an invitation, but put one of those up anyway. Skull and crossbones should do the trick.
Dr. House
[Not that he'll admit it to anyone else but]
All right, I'll keep that in mind. [a beat] Thank you.
