She sniffles and wipes her nose with the back of her hand. Her face is uncomfortably hot yet she's freezing. Her shivering near knocks her off her feet as she clambers up the steps. ]

My mother…

[ Arya feels her eyes fill with tears. She was going to find her mother and her brother. She was almost home. It wasn't fair. ]

[ She holds out her hands to take it from him. Arya turns it over. ]

[ Faint smile. She doesn't raise her eyes from the egg. ]

You can go if you want. I'm just going to sleep.

[ Bringing the egg with her, she crawls on the bed. The covers she keeps wrapped around herself like a cocoon. She leaves the egg on the pillow next to her. Her prayer comes to mind. She names the Hound first. Valar morghulis. Yawning, she curls up into a ball to sleep. ]

[He'll remain a little longer than he said he would. After all, it's only until recently he's had the chance just to...stay with the children. Paradisa's given him the time to do that much, at least]
