019 Summons ❈ Action & Dictated
[It's been a couple of weeks, Paradisa, but Sheena's making her way back to the castle. While her departure had been quiet and quick, her return is quite the opposite. She didn't bother to hide the sight of her riding on the back of a giant rodent as he made his way slowly across the terrain towards the castle in broad daylight.
If anyone's watching her, she's oblivious as pain and exhaustion overtakes her the closer they get to their destination. Once she's at the castle, she makes her way up to her room as Gnome disappears in front of anyone who's watching, and collapses on the bed. She has every intention of returning to Lloyd and Colette's house, but she has things here she needs to pick up first--right after a nap.]
[Several hours later....]
[Sheena's wide awake, and with her journal propped open beside her, she takes care of those cuts and scrapes she had received while in the DZ, the occasional gasp of pain entering her dictation.]
Hey, everyone, I'm back from the Dead Zone. [whoops, she hadn't told anyone she was going there, had she? Too late to change it now. Rushing forward now:]
First, to whoever left me the cookies, thank you! They were pretty good!
And...If I didn't know better, I'd swear the Daruma Doll I found in my room is the same one my grandfather had. It has his name on it and everything. Ummm, whoever got that for me...Th-Thanks. Thank you so much.
[Now her tone changes into one of concern.]
And what in the name of Mizuho has been going on? I've been reading some of the past journal entries and people mentioned doubles being here... Is everyone all right?
[Filter to Danny]
Especially you? Are you okay?
[/]
[Filter to Raine]
How are the plants doing? I hope you found the other item I left for you for Christmas. You've been a good friend to me, and well-- [Okay, she's breaking off now, because FEELINGS.]
[/]
[Filter to Genis]
I hope you like your gift, Genis. It should come in handy just like back home. [Especially if it hits a certain person in the head.]
[/]
[Filter to Colette]
Hi! Yeah, I'm back! How are you and Yeleurk doing? I hope you like your gift. I know I should have given it to you in person, but you know me, so hiding it in your shopping bag was the best idea for me.
[/]
[Filter to Lloyd]
[Oh, she didn't forget him in the gift department, either.]
The moment I saw it, I thought of you. [You know, because of some of his fighting moves...]
[/]
[She closes the journal and delivers one more present with the note: "I should have given this to you sooner, but I hope you like it."]
[Spike the Dragon: He'll get a gemstone-studded suit jacket to match the tie he told Sheena about.
She's got a few more, but she's not exactly sure how well-received she'd be in delivering them, so she's staying away from any possible rejection.]
[ooc: Yep, she left presents before she left on vacation like the sneaky little ninja she is. Sheena can be hit up on either the journal or when she's walking around to talk about anything: the gifts, her question, that giant bow-wearing, shovel-carrying Spirit Summon--or just to shoot the breeze.]

[ Really? He wasn't able to take them out at that time where they get to, more or less, perfect finish on the sheet, outside the oven. ]
... Castle must have done something more with 'keep fresh', was fairly sure had over-cooked....
no subject
You know, they say a cook is their own harshest critic. Nothing they make ever tastes right.

They looked fine, Duke.
no subject
[ Because he knows there were some that tried to crumble to pieces when he moved them. ]
no subject
Duke, did you have trouble making the cookies?
[YES! She finally figured it out! Maybe.]
no subject
[ But it was okay, there were people he needed to return things (read-arrow from his shoulder) to and he might as well give them the crumbled bits too. ]

no subject
oh. He remmebers now- ]
Yours was of a later batch; had figured out what seemed to be best time by then.
no subject
The best time to cook them to avoid people stealing them? Or to avoid the penguins?
[She's seriously thinking time as in day--not cooking length.]
no subject
[ He can follow that train of thought. ]
no subject
Yeah, I never know what to call that time of day, either.
no subject
no subject
Yeah. Yeah, I guess you would.
no subject
He thinks he figured out why she was laughing. Midnight does tend to be dark. ]
no subject
Duke, um, are you all right?
no subject
[ No, its him being a social fail. ]
no subject
No! No, I wasn't laughing at you! I promise!
no subject
[ He didn't really even think that she could have been laughing at him. ]
no subject
Oh. Now I understand.

no subject
Duke? Duke, are you there?
no subject
no subject
Yeah, that's normal, but I don't think it works too well over the journal...
[Said in a thoughtful voice, not accusing.]
no subject
[ He'll have to start announcing he's done talking, won't he? ]
