I think this has waited long enough.

I'm going to go out today and install wards to the live-zone outpost. I realize some of you are not yet ready to do this, but at this point something is better than nothing. Any of you is welcome to accompany me or contribute something at a later date, of course, if you are so inspired. I think I can at least count on Duke, since we've already done some work with his crystals. For those of you who aren't yet aware of this project, my goal is to ensure that we do not lose this new outpost as we did the last ones. 

That said, I'll be leaving in a few hours. You can find me at Chimera headquarters if you wish to come along.

May I also remind you all that one of our goals is gathering info on the magic of other residents, and if you speak to anyone you believe qualifies, it would help if you learned and recorded what you could. I am only one man.

Duke can be heard to mutter 'and don't eat it' to something on his end. ]

[she smiles] I've only spoken to one other magic user recently who might be interested- James Potter. He's from Hermione's world so I don't know if she's already told him about it yet or not.

Quite true. I mostly do physical shielding - but most of my magic works on material things.

Oh, I shouldn't be gone very long. The young lady who rebuilt the outpost also installed something which transports people there instantly. I don't find it terribly pleasant but it is convenient.

Well, there we have something in common. Honestly, it's not as if I believe my wards will be inadequate, but I know enough to realize that there are forces in this world that may be beyond my ability to protect against. But sitting here and planning for every contingency means nothing at all gets done.

Yes, I've spoken to him as well. I asked him to see what is holding Hermoine back from joining us this time. Powers though if he'll manage it, though.

But thank you for trying, my dear. You don't have to recruit them to get information - though of course doing so would be ideal. The more types of magic we can identify and catalog the better.
