I Spy with my Eye

[Percy is laying on his back using the spyglass Lemony gave him for Christmas to look at the stars. No, this is not an effective way to stargaze. Why do you ask?]

Has anyone ever come up here during different seasons to chart the stars? They all look kinda the same to me.

Don't think anyone has.

It would be interesting. Perhaps they align with SOMEONE'S world, even.

I think they're supposed to. Like one of them is named "Pandora's Box", even though it doesn't really look much like the real thing.

And I think the Doctor said one of them was from a story in his world, too.

Oh, you mean the shapes they make. To be honest, I do not think I ever much looked at those in my world, though I knew we have a few.

They're a pretty big thing where I come from.

My world was always concerned with the moon, so the stars meant little.

So what did you do when you got lost at night?

Well, frankly, I never traveled far from my Castle. I could not afford to.

Why not?

Because of the War. I needed to be there, to fight with my men when the magic of the Castle In the Moon summoned - as it always did, every night. I could not afford to abandon my men to the Yasha's armies.

Oh. That makes sense, then.

I wish I could have traveled, could have played emissary, but... fate had other designs for me, I am afraid.

But you can do it now!

Heh, I suppose I can, in as much as Paradisa will let me. Why do you think I am always curious about other worlds?

Because it's cool to learn about them?

Well, true, and I never had the chance to truly explore back in my own world.
