[There are a few half-formed words that are crossed out just as quickly as they appear before Jennifer finally finds the right way to start.]

For those who knew them, Samantha Carter and Jack O'Neill have left Paradisa. They were comrades of mine, though I wasn't well-acquainted with either of them, so that and the appearance of that... other me mean I've been quieter than usual. I'm going to try my hardest to not wallow in it, though. [And not wish she'd been quicker to get to know her fellow SGC members. No, certainly not.]

I will be, thanks. It's not the first time someone I know has left... I don't think I'll ever get used to it, but I know how to deal, at least.

[Not too long after she arrived at the Lobby, she'd hear the light thump of Blues' footsteps. Not long after she'd see a robot in sunglasses and a yellow scarf coming down the stairs.]

I take it, you're Jennifer?

[Jennifer gave a small, shy smile in return and nodded. She couldn't help but notice the sunglasses and scarf, and wondered why he was wearing the former indoors, but figured maybe it was just an odd fashion choice.]

I am. I really do appreciate you taking time out of your day to walk around with a stranger.

Don't mention it, I didn't have much going on anyway.
