I...I wish you were here, old friend. Then again, with how time works here I'd be an old man to you now, wouldn't I? We were both so young, so sure of ourselves. Between the two of us, nothing could stand in our way. Except maybe Teresa, but we sure wouldn't own up to that. [a small and sad laugh]

My friend has woken up, so I'm thinking that provided the castle doesn't do anything- we can leave next Monday. If the castle does do something in-between now and then, it will be on full day after the castle is returned to normal.

In the meantime, please make sure to gather supplies. Food, Camping supplies, weapons and some sort of mount. Keep in mind it'll be the dead zone so no technology or magic will work out there. If you need a more detailed list, I can try to draw one up for you.

I think the trip with our size should take about one week...so plan accordingly!

I guess it would depend on the friend... And how much I knew about the situation. [she can think of some friends who would want to know, and would be mad to know that she had kept it a secret from them. But some friends... she's not sure if she would ever be able to muster up the courage]

For some people... I know they'd really wan to know the truth. If they knew that I'd lied to them, or kept a secret because I was worried about them, they'd be mad.

But some people aren't like that. I know some friends who... well, they probably wouldn't want to know. If they knew, it would make living here harder for them.

And...there's some people who would want to know, but might not handle the information as well as they think they can.

[Which is definitely more like him. He lets out a small huff]

They barely even remember me with all the coming and going in the castle. Am I even the right person to say it? To me they are a friend and...to them I'm practically a stranger.

[ouch, that's just more awkward on top of an awkward situation. Poor Allen :(]

I don't know if there is ever a right person to say something like that. [hm, she's quiet for another moment as she thinks]

If you said it, it would probably make your relationship different, and it would be hard to rebuild your friendship so that it's the same as it was before.

But in the end, if you think that it would really hurt them or help them to know, then I think you should do what you feel is best. [you're a good guy, Allen. She trusts your judgement]

[A long pause as he thinks about it. It's hard. Arthur always hated lying, yet at the same time there was some truths he was not good at handling. Allen was basically a stranger, not a friend. Not only that, he came from far in the future, where Arthur is dead no matter what age he died. If it came up...]
