[After being here for about nine days, Presea had finally settled down. Or had lost some of the uneasy that came with coming here. She'd gone out of her room a few times, but spend most of her time behind a locked door. It was about time to change that, after all she wouldn't get anything accomplished doing so.]

A blacksmith.

Is there one in town that would allow someone to use it's forge without working there. [Not that she'd mind doing so.] Or a forge that can be used by anyone.

Is there any work or help that a [she's not actually a kid, but since she looks like one.] child to do? I don't want to sit around doing nothing.

That's not uncommon here. My body is still fifteen years old but I'm actually twenty-one.

It's the way time flows.. or doesn't really flow here? Do you know that when the castle returns people home, it puts them in the exact moment and place they were taken from?

[She stares at the map for a moment, she'll head to the fountain before fully attempting to figure it out.]

Time does not move back home? I was told when I got here that we do not age here, but.. [what you said really sounds impossible.]

It's hard to explain, so I'm sorry if I confuse you. It's more like... Time doesn't really flow here. That this place exists outside of a normal time stream.

It must be hard having a loss for so long. [She knows that she doesn't want too.]

My loss... Wasn't terrible. If I had what I lost, I'd be able to protect more people here, but I don't think that kind of thought should stop me. Even if it took my most precious thing away, it's life. There's always loss.

[She's... not really looked at it like that before, however she can't bring herself to think like that. There might be a spark of jealousy for a moment.]

Are... you at the Blacksmith right now?

[once he gets there, he spots the girl in front of the door, and clears his throat]

You're the one from the castle who wanted a job here...?

[Presea turns to him with a nod before walking over.]

Yes, to at least be able to use the forge.

It might take a while to convince the boss, but I'm sure he'll be okay with that when you prove yourself.

[A content expression and a nod.]

How do I prove myself?

Show him you can lift heavy objects and stay in the heat for hours.

I can do that. [She's like an ant, lifting 100 times her weight.]

When do you think will be a good time?

Hm... Maybe in two days? I'll need to tell him first and argue if he doesn't want to take you in at first.

[a beat] You will do that for me?

I know how hard it is to get some respect around here with a young body. It took a while for me to get the job too.

And besides... It could be fun.
