[Ten days in this place was really more than enough to tell him this wasn't really a dream at all, even if he still wanted to say it was. The only way to say it WAS still a dream was if he was in a coma back in Belka, but he wasn't in that bad a shape. He was neglecting his injuries for the most part because he was so bent on thinking it was a dream, but it was about time that he accepted that it WAS reality after all.]

I may have to ask for the assistance of a doctor, if one is willing to see me later.

[Of course, the state of his wounds weren't about to stop him anyway. He had managed to drag himself up two flights of stairs and is hanging out in the first level of the library, his journal laying open nearby, so the book reading-types may see a man in a leather flight jacket glancing through the shelves, particularly at books that are in the German language. He glances over the one he's currently looking at - Diu Crône - and gives a slightly annoyed sigh.]

I'm almost starting to miss the Round Table right about now.

I have a few injuries that I received after having to bail out of my aircraft around a week before I got pulled here. I haven't had the means to properly tend to them. [He'll leave out the parts about a dogfight before said ejecting and having to bailout in the mountains, so he's got more than a 'few' injuries.]

I see. Clearly they cannot be too serious or else you wouldn't still be talking to me, but nonetheless... do you wish to come to the clinic, or for me to handle them in private?

Well, I'm sure they might be worse than I'm aware of, but I got some treatment at home. [which is really the only reason he's still breathing.] My room is on the same floor as the clinic, I can meet up there.

[He'll give Spike a sideways glance before going back to scanning the spines of the books.]

And if I forget anything, I can ask those ghosts to do it for me, can't I?

Did I say I have a problem with them? The only thing I can say about them is that their pride gets to their heads too much. It'll just get them killed faster than others.

I've flown with 'knights' and plenty of them lost their wings for it.

You mean the ones that died out in Belka years ago. But that hardly changes the mentality.

[He'll sound a little surprised at hearing that name. He knows that's not attached to a 'Patrick James', but hearing the last name again felt odd. But, he'll always be glad to have a second opinion around for doctors.]

I have some injuries from bailing out of an aircraft at home before I got here. Never had much of a chance here to get them properly tended to.

[He's almost tempted to ask if there's any relation to PJ, but he knows there isn't so it'd be silly to ask.]

I haven't seen anyone yet, but I'm sure seeing more than one doctor in this place wouldn't be a bad idea. [He currently doesn't have much faith in anyone here yet, but he just needs to get past that skeptic stage.]
