[ The snow here is pleasant. It stays under his feet though in some places he finds himself knee-deep. He walks at a leisurely pace with his cloak drawn about him, round and round the castle grounds, and takes care not to wander too far. ]

[Conan had been feeling the need recently to take any excuse to get out of the castle. He'd been trapped here for more than a year now, Still trapped as a child. And sometimes the need to constantly keep his network of lies up became tedious.

As much as he knew the necessity, he hated being treated like the child he appeared to be.

And so today he had left the castle early, snowboard in hand, in search of a good area to practice some advanced maneuvers. When he sees the other figure in the distance he pulls out the board and and begins calmly snowboarding towards him.

The curiosity of a detective demanded nothing less.]

[bronwe]

[ Frodo hops a bit to the side when he finally notices the snowboard coming closer, better hobbit hearing and all! He doesn't say anything but watches the quaint contraption surf along. ]

[Conan finally comes to a stop and eyes Frodo skeptically.]

I haven't seen you around before. Are you new to the castle?

[bronwe]

[ He watches the boy as warily, taking his time to reply. ]

I have been here a number of days.

I've discovered more about this place, if you would have me share what I know with you.

I haven't been here very long either, so any new information would be helpful.

[ He pauses to gather his words first, wondering which he would know already. ]

The castle can take us from different places as well as time, though it will return us when and where we come from, or at least we hope so. [ He hasn't heard of anyone who returned to say so. ] It could turn us into unnatural things, too. I met a small winged creature who claimed she is usually a woman.

Happy to help. Have you explored much yet, found anything exciting?

[ Wow nosy. We'll go with curious, it's more flattering. ]

[bronwe]

More exciting than the castle itself? That is a difficult challenge.

[magicus]

I don't know about that.

Have you seen any familiar faces yet?

I have, more than I could wish for. [ Though now he still hopes for more. ]

I hope you aren't alone here.

[What's Jane doing out and about today? Well, after being knocked out for a week, she could use some time outside, so she's all bundled up as she leaves the castle for her walk-

Hey, wait a second. Is that...that's a little man walking over there! She pauses and peers over curiously.]

Oh my!

[bronwe]

[ Frodo's so caught in his thoughts that he takes a moment to see this woman peering at him, so he stumbles a couple of steps back before falling back butt first onto the snow.

Balance was never his strong suit. ]

[Oh no! Jane hurries down to where he is and crouches down near him.]

Goodness, are you alright? Here- [She holds out her hand and means for you to take it so she can pull you up.] Did I startle you? I'm sorry.

[bronwe]

[ Frodo stares at her hand for a moment, slightly stunned, then takes it so she can help him up. He brushes off what snow stuck to his cloak and offers her an apologetic smile. ]

That isn't difficult to do. I'm sorry.

[ino]

[ino's mostly minding her own business, on her way to the castle from the city. but she has to stop and pause to stare a little, because ... he's so tiny, aww ...]

[bronwe]

[ He returns the stare with a side glance at the lady and her strange dress... ]

Hullo.

[ino]

Uhm, hi. [she'll give him a casual wave!] I don't think I've seen you around here before.

[willrememberthat]

[When Clem spots Frodo, it doesn't take long for the childish desire to sneak up on him to enter her mind. She sticks out against the white, in a bright red coat, but she tries to be sneaky, ducking behind snowdrifts when she thinks she's getting too close.

Her giggling might give her away, though.]

[bronwe]

[ He has hobbit hearing! But giggling isn't so uncommon in this castle, unlike in other places, so he only glances over his shoulder and keeps trudging through the snow. ]

[She scurries to another snow drift, hopping through the deeper snow. Once she's situated, she crouches to start forming a snowball.]
