Wonderland: Day One

The residents of Paradisa who ventured into the lobby on the 13th would find something new there; a mirror spanning an entire wall. Given recent happenings, who can blame them if they're cautious? Trouble is, this mirror seems to really want to bring people in, because you don't have to get too close before you're through the looking glass.

Once you've gone, you may find that you're not quite yourself.

[Notes/Reminders: Type 1 and Type 2 characters will believe they are Wonderland natives. All characters, including those not entering Wonderland, will be able to use their journals; Wonderland "natives" will think it is a communication device exclusive to Wonderland, although communication between Paradisa and Wonderland through the journals is absolutely possible. You may NPC any number of Tulgey Wood creatures, except for the Jabberwocky.]

[Church blunders through a hedge and out of maze, a cloud of cussing following in his wake. At some point while trying to navigate the twists and turns he decided to just muscle though the wall of green.]

Hah, take that you stupid green son of a bitch!

[He pulls a few twigs and leaves from where they lodged in his armor. He's feeling pretty triumphant until he notices he's gone from lost in a maze to lost in a forest.]

More than I'd like. I managed to skip out on the last few times, but I heard about them.

...Come to think of it, the last time I got pulled into another world it was because of a mirror too. Maybe I should start avoiding those things.

[He bows his head, wringing the trumpet anxiously.]

P-perhaps I ought not to go at all. I have been late far too many a time, and our majesties' patience is sure to have run out with me by now.

Good.

That is.. fortunate and also unfortunate. I would not wish for anyone to be lost but, if we are, I am glad I have found good company. [ What a kind boy. After giving him a curtsy while bowing her head, she straightens up again. ]

[A light dawns, or seems to, but Pixy is likely to be disappointed with the results.]

You must have me confused with some other fairy, though. I've been out in the courtyard all day, preparing things!

[He visibly starts at his accusation.]

[He bites his lower lip and brings his hand up to his neck, cutting across his neck with his pointer finger. His voice drops to a whisper.]

They may not be preferable circumstances, but they are what they are either way; there is little to be done about it.

Well, the abstruseness of these present circumstances is quite prodigious! And something I must redress at once!

[Because the Queen's Courtyard was not a place The Dodo wanted to find himself, despite having been something else entirely not a few moments prior.]
