Wonderland: Day One

[wonderlandian]

The residents of Paradisa who ventured into the lobby on the 13th would find something new there; a mirror spanning an entire wall. Given recent happenings, who can blame them if they're cautious? Trouble is, this mirror seems to really want to bring people in, because you don't have to get too close before you're through the looking glass.

Once you've gone, you may find that you're not quite yourself.

[Notes/Reminders: Type 1 and Type 2 characters will believe they are Wonderland natives. All characters, including those not entering Wonderland, will be able to use their journals; Wonderland "natives" will think it is a communication device exclusive to Wonderland, although communication between Paradisa and Wonderland through the journals is absolutely possible. You may NPC any number of Tulgey Wood creatures, except for the Jabberwocky.]

[You'd think a giant rabbit who's only visible to those who believe in him would be right at home in a place like this. But boy would you be wrong. So very wrong, in fact.

Bunnymund is wandering around giving those weird birds a bit of a sideeye]

Right. This place isn't with a cooee of being normal. [Lesson learned. Don't mess with mirrors in the magical castle]

[ She's going right after the birds. Please don't let her be eaten. ]

[Ayra no, you don't know if they're murderous birds or not! Bunny sighs, following after her]

Is this normal? For this place?

It changes every once in a while. Usually, something terrible happens before the end.

[ She crouches down by one of the birds to look at it closely. ]

[He'll be letting one paw move to his back, where his boomerangs are kept in the sling, just in case those birds try anything]

You sound pretty unphased by that.

It's going to happen. There's no point being afraid from now. When it happens, I'll find a way through it.

[ She makes as if to poke one of the birds. It honks at her. ]

NO doubt you would, little brumby. [He'll wander a little closer, giving that bird a warning look]

So I take it after the bad thing everything goes back to normal?

Or as normal as this place gets.

[wolfchild]

[ Her smile fades as she straightens. ]

Sometimes. The very first time it happened to me two of the ones we were with were killed.

[Oh. Well that's not comforting at all. He straightens a little, his ears perking forward, listening to the sounds of the forest around them, trying to catch any sounds of danger]

Well, don't you worry. I'll stick by you. They'd be messing with the wrong bunny if they tried to attack me.

Eh, the ghost zone was still weirder.

[Danny was perched on a nearby branch and keeping a wary eye on the forest nearby. Bets that this was all going to go horribly wrong somehow?]

[Bunny would support that bet, yep]

Does this happen regular? Going to strange worlds.

More than I'd like. I managed to skip out on the last few times, but I heard about them.

...Come to think of it, the last time I got pulled into another world it was because of a mirror too. Maybe I should start avoiding those things.

Right, from now on, I'm avoiding ever mirror in this place. [Except if, you know, kids go into them. Because then he has to follow]

...Right. Good luck with that.

I think I'll need it, mate.

Though I'm pretty sure you're doomed.

[After finally flying out of the maze, Sugar has managed to get herself lost. Again. The woods are big and scary for someone as tiny as her. Worse yet, she hasn't had any food since breakfast.

Then she hears a voice from beyond the trees. Is that...?]

Mr. Bunny? Mr. Bunny, where are you?

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

[Oh hey, it's the little fairy girl again, his ears swivel in the direction of the sound of her voice, before carefully making his way out of the trees]

So, you got stuck here too?

[sugarwaffo]

Mr. Bunny! [Sugar rushes forward and clings to his fur in a pseudo hug.]

Oh, I was so worried! I saw a twinkle but when I chased it, I ended up in a garden instead. Everything twisted and turned until I was lost. And then when I got out, I got even more lost!

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

[He offers her a small smile, returning it]

I think it's something to do with the magic of the castle. I heard it does this kind of thing.

[sugarwaffo]

Really? Why would it do that?

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

I've got no idea. I'm still pretty new to this place myself.

[sugarwaffo]

Oh, I see. [Sugar worries her lip as she thinks that over. If Bunny had no idea, what hope did she have of understanding this place.

But no! She can't let Bunny worry about her! That wouldn't help either of them! So Sugar flies up to eye level with a big cheerful grin.]

It's okay! I'm sure we can find our way together!

[thatrabbitsdynamite]

[Her bubbly manner brings a small smile to Bunny's features. She reminds him of Tooth, in her own little way]

Too right, I'm sure we will.
