Wonderland: Day One

The residents of Paradisa who ventured into the lobby on the 13th would find something new there; a mirror spanning an entire wall. Given recent happenings, who can blame them if they're cautious? Trouble is, this mirror seems to really want to bring people in, because you don't have to get too close before you're through the looking glass.

Once you've gone, you may find that you're not quite yourself.

[Notes/Reminders: Type 1 and Type 2 characters will believe they are Wonderland natives. All characters, including those not entering Wonderland, will be able to use their journals; Wonderland "natives" will think it is a communication device exclusive to Wonderland, although communication between Paradisa and Wonderland through the journals is absolutely possible. You may NPC any number of Tulgey Wood creatures, except for the Jabberwocky.]

What are friends for, right?

Now, what does that mean?

[He's got her genuinely worried with that answer.]

[She made friends with the wrong cowboy if she's expecting that.]

It doesn't mean anything.

[Nah. She makes friends only expecting friendship in return.]

[She also doesn't believe his answer, but she's not going to press right now.]

Well, if you don't want to tell me, that's okay. [Not really, buuut] We've got other things to worry about right now.

[He's grateful for the shift in focus, even if he's not as worried as he should be.]

We just have to find another mirror.

[She raises her hand to encompass the entire area.]

I don't see any so far. Maybe if we go in farther...?

[Yeah, not one of her more confident ideas.]

[He shrugs. What else can they do?]

Lead the way.

[And she does, picking the only direction that seems to make sense.]

This way. It looks like we can get to a castle eventually.

[gottaknockhard]

[He nods and follows, although he feels pretty apathetic about reaching another castle. Just get him there, find something to eat, and sleep until this all blows over.]

[Yeah, she's not too keen on it, either.]

I hate castles.

[Might have been loud enough for him to hear.]

[She might not catch it, but that comment gets a smile out of him.]

You'll have to speak up if you want it to hear you.

[She's also smiling as she replies without turning.]

Which one? I can be pretty loud if I need to be.
