67: We have a problem. [Forward dated to after the Wonderland gig.]
[Still in a drowsy state, He hung lazily off of his bed, face pasted in a pool of his own drool as he snored the hours away. That's just how things work. You sleep. You wake up. Though sleeping without a companion was not a thing Wheatley did often. And he certainly didn't remember not doing so earlier.
Rolling off the bed, in a clumsy flail of limbs, the first thing he realized was his hands.
His very muscular hands.
Then it was his biceps.
Holding his hands out in front of him, stupefied, he squinted, calling out to the woman who he thought was in the room with him.]
Uhhhh... love?
[Looking around, it had been only then he realized he was somewhere else. Somewhere that wasn't his house. He's been kidnapped!
No wait.
Slowly, his eyes trail down to the puddle of drool on the floor. Leaning forward slowly, he was surprised to see his face wasn't the one he woke up with.]
Ahhh???
[Shattering sounds!]
AGHGHHHAHHAHHAHAHHHHHHH????
[Crash.]
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH??!!!
[Screaming at the top of his lungs, someone was bound to hear him in his room.]

He doesn't make m-- I-I....I-I don't make him do anything he doesn't want to do!

[ Okay. Something is definitely wrong here. She feels almost at home with this guy. He exudes an aura of stupidity... ]
Well, anyway. How about you let me in.
[ She crosses her arms, glaring up at him suspiciously. She can't quite put her finger on it, but he suddenly reminds her of her moronic husband. ]
no subject
Seriously. No one can make that bloke do anything he doesn't want to. Strong minded... that one.
[And he steps aside, letting her into his room. If only because it's kind of an emergency.]
No need to look at me like that.
no subject
Clearly, we have different conceptions of him.
[ And she huffs, stepping inside and glancing about. Maybe she could pick up some information about anything they had been doing... ]
I can look at you however I want to look at you.
no subject
[What?]
What is your conception... of-of him, exactly?
no subject
[ she retaliates, defensively. If he insisted now, he would probably not get the whole truth. ]
no subject
...
I just don't see why you treat him as if you love him if you really don't, is all.
[He spoke with an equal sense of defense.]
no subject
Did she go with blatant honesty and risk embarrassing herself? Or should she lie and save face? What if he tried to use her reply against her in convincing Wheatley? ]
... Why are you prying into this?...
[ she murmured, cheeks flushing as she looked away. ]
no subject
He's my friend.
[Hear that? Frieeend.]
no subject
Oh, really. I don't believe that for a second.
no subject
What izzit about me do you find so intimidating?
...
Izzit my face?
[Which he points to. Just in case.]
no subject
You don't intimidate me.
no subject
[Such a tense tone.]
no subject
[ She was... just the tiniest bit. ]
But I'm allowed to be concerned, I do think.
no subject
no subject
What does it matter to you, in any case? I'm starting to wonder if you're trying to take him from me.
[ She would take a step closer, as if showing she wasn't afraid- no matter what he looked like or threatened. ]
no subject
[He laughed! Oh goodness... though don't mind the fact that he was starting to sound more and more threatening. Wheatley tended to do that when he was in a state of confidence.]
Does that scare you?
no subject
If he was observant enough, he might notice the way she tensed in fear- the way golden eyes displayed worry. ]
It doesn't scare me...
no subject
[He isn't observant at all.
But it should? Wheatley felt a bit of annoyance ring in him. Why didn't it? He took it the wrong way, of course.]
You didn't answer me, you know. About the love part.
Why-why is that? What is it... does-- does it not really matter?
I figured it did. I thought it did.
no subject
Why would I tell you about anything? You're acting strange.
no subject
...Y-you know what?
Forget it.
[He narrows his eye away. Thank god Hank doesn't have a face. She won't be able to tell that he wore a rather humilliated expression.]
...Waste of time.
no subject
... I wouldn't kiss you, anyway. He's the only one I would...
[ she admitted, crossing her arms and stepping back. Subdued. ]
no subject
The only one who'd fall for it.
[He's a little injured.]
no subject
[ She feels a twist of pain at that as well. She did find him idiotic, but she loved him regardless. ]
You're dumber than he is if that's what you think.
[ she said harshly, moving to the door. ]
no subject
[Pause. He looks towards her as she's moving.]
