While I'm rather happy that the weather in this place seems quite a bit nicer than outside of the castle, I can't help but feeling as though I'm hallucinating or caught inside some sort of lucid dream.

If only because absolutely nothing here seems to make sense.

It doesn't get that cold, where I'm from. But it's a little miserable here. Or, well. At the castle.

It's a painkiller and a cough suppressant. Most of it's other effects are secondary.

True. I could be hallucinating talking to you, but that does seem to stretch the limits of believability, unless this is some sort of true dream.

Ah - a dream where you interact with places or things you interact with are 'real'. Either deliberately created magical constructs, or the projections of other dreamers. Sometimes it means future-telling dreams, but I've never had one of those.

This would be a singularly odd place to make in an oneirmantic construct, I think.

Well, just because it's... odd all over. The only oneiromantic construct - which is to say, a shared dreamspace constructed of magic - I've seen reflected a material place. It would be easier to construct, and to anchor that way.

Building something like this would... be a great deal of effort.
