This is exactly the sort of place that Luna would enjoy, if she were here. She wouldn't have any trouble... I'm going to try to explore everything so I can tell her about it if she ever comes.

Not that I would wish her to be trapped here too, of course.

[she laughs] No, I have a friend named Luna back home. She's very accepting of odd things.

Sounds to me like this Luna girl's a girl that knows how to have fun. I'd totally be all about this whole crazy land stuff, except it involves mirrors, and I'm kind of staying away from magic mirrors for a while.

Not intentionally. It pulled me in.

Way harsh. I guess sometimes there's just no escape from stuff like that short of locking yourself away in your room. Or just being in the right place at the right time.

That doesn't always work, either. The castle changes itself so completely sometimes that a locked door wouldn't be of any use.

I found that out when we all turned into ninjas. Which was cool and all, but still really weird.

Yes, it was. The only expected thing here is the unexpected.

We should put that on a mug or a t-shirt and call it Paradisa merchandise.

I'll make that suggestion to Hard Harry. He could advertise it on his radio show.

Oh yeah! I listen to his show sometimes. The music's not exactly my taste but it's an easy way to get information without having to actually read the journal myself. Sometimes it's just too much to read.

I enjoy reading it, but I think his radio program is an important part of the castle. It's always nice to hear him on Monday nights.

Kinda makes this place feel a little more normal. The only thing missing is a request line for songs or a way to make dedications.

I think he does do that on occasion.

It's mad. Nothing they do makes any sense at all!

I get the feeling that that's the case with any place that involves mirrors.

Yes, the castle has been using them a lot lately... This is the third time that I know of. It's very strange.

If it keeps this up it's gonna have to be Mirrordisa instead of Paradisa.

[She didn't mean it to be a joke but it wound up coming out that way anyway.]

They can make a national anthem about mirrors if they want so long as they just keep them away from me. Is it all topsy turvy there, too?

It's mostly just odd. They have races with no beginning or end and some of them seem really enjoy playing word games.

What about the danger level? Is anything lurking in the shadows or anything like that?

The queen has a thing about beheading people.

I honestly have no idea. I can't make any sense out of their judicial system.

Well, if there's any place you should try to get out of as soon as possible, it sounds like it's that one.

Yeah, because I'm going to go even in the same room as a magic mirror that sucked people into a crazy land ruled by a homicidal maniac.

Surely you can build a contraption to check for you? And if it's sucked in, we may be able to use it to break out.

Yes. It may just be odd enough for none of the natives to think anything of it.

Even a melted robot could be useful. This place is so nonsensical, it's worth a try.
