Wonderland: Final Day

[When the time comes for Alice's trial, anyone who has come to watch will notice the cards guarding the area to the west start to stir. They seem quite alarmed about something... And in a moment, a short, ugly figure with a loud, shrieking voice makes their concerns clear.]

I am the Queen of Hearts!

[The woman glares about with her nostrils flaring. It's almost comic, really, but perhaps it's best not to laugh.]

I did not call for this trial! All of you! All of you shall lose your heads for this!

[She turns to the cards expectantly when they do not move instantly. It is a gaze that inspires fear in a number of them, and soon the guards are attacking. They aren't beheading anyone - the queen wants to watch that, after all - but they are willing to do whatever they must to capture the spectators and lock them away. Alice flees into the chaotic crowd.]

(ooc| Have at it, guys. This is the last part of the plot, and after a while, the Jabberwocky will be on the seen to make things even worse. Threads will go on until tomorrow - or, more accurately, until Crystal and I are both asleep - at which point characters will awaken with a start in their beds, back home.)

[Well, congratulations! You've...frozen the Jabberwock's foot to the ground. The. rest of him is still very un-iced, though.]

[For now the Jabberwock is just going to let out a roar, letting its tail swerve around to slap right into Danny hard to get him off its foot, so it can work on trying to free itself.]

[He'll take small victories where he can get them, okay? Danny yelps as the tail slams into him and goes tumbling away across the floor. So much for that plan.]

[Now that the little annoyance is out of the way, the Jabberwock swipes into the ice surrounding its foot and eventually frees it with a loud growl.]

[And now it's heading over to Danny to finish the job it started- come here, ghost boy, the Jabberwock just wants to chomp on you and tear you to shreds like the good monster it is.]

[He'll pass on that, thanks. Danny plants his feet and inhales deeply as the Jabberwock gets closer. He wouldn't be good for much after, but he was starting to get low on options.]

[wonderlandian]

[Too bad that the Jabberwock doesn't care about Danny's options here- all it cares is that there's something it can possibly eat and/or kill, and it's quite ready to do that.]

[So it finally reaches him, and with a shriek, it throws is claws down at the boy, trying to impale him on them.]

[Danny waits until it has almost reached him, then he opens his mouth a screams. Only it isn't just a scream, its a Ghostly Wail. The sound waves coming from his mouth become visible as bands of green energy battering at everything in front of him. This was the kind of raw force that could flip cars and collapse buildings.]
