[Tsuna awakes in his bed with a small start and promptly sits up. He blinks blearily, looking toward the window, lifting an arm to block the light when it hits his eyes.]

Ah... [He blinks then, and looks down at his blanket, recalling what had happened to him for what had seemed to be the past few days. But he was back in his room at the house, and in his pajamas, so...]

What a strange dream. [He then gets out of bed and yawns and stretches, heading to the bathroom to brush his teeth. He opens the door, and...

There's a pair of white rabbit ears popping innocently out of his hair.]

Heehh!? [There's a thud as Tsuna falls over.] Rabbit ears?

[And then he cautiously raises a hand and tugs on one to make sure Reborn wasn't playing a dirty trick on him or something. He can feel a sensation from the tug, and it doesn't come off.]

N-no way! They're real?! --ah, my feet! [And now he's noticing that they're all dirtied, and a little cut and sore, too. The cogs are turning in his head.]

Wait... then...

[He pales a bit.]

All of that actually happened?!

Hm? Oh, right. I was trapped in one of those. It was a virtual reality massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, a VRMMORPG, called Sword Art Online. SAO was the first of its kind, and only ten thousand copies were sold. However, all of us who logged in were trapped.

[She pauses.] There's a helmet like device that connects to our brain's nervous system, and that's how it all happened.

Here, though, it looks like I have my body back. [She glances at her hands on the table, flexing her fingers.] But I have my avatar's clothes and abilities. It's strange.

Maybe the castle decided to do that. Years ago, there were people here who also were involved with some game, and they still had powers from that. [Though they also thought it was a game ahem..]

That is strange. But, is that your loss, then, or is it just a side effect of being pulled from the game? [Not being in your own body definitely feels like grounds for a permanent loss '^']

I think it's a side effect. It wouldn't be much of a loss if it benefitted me, right?

From when I started, to the timing before arriving here, it'd been about two years.

[He gets up to get it]

[Asuna can't help but glance over at ears, though she doesn't say anything.]

[He'll grab three mugs and pour hot water into them.]

[oh right the ears, they're still a thing. Tsuna gives a slightly nervous laugh and pins his ears back, hoping to somehow bury them in his hair.]

A-anyway, Asuna-san, is there anything you can do about your situation back home? Some sort of way out...?

Mm. [She nods.] We need to beat the game and reach floor one hundred. There's a boss battle in each floor, so a lot of leveling up is required.
