[ Frodo halts his strolling at the sight of this familito remember har man. A man, though, which is entirely jarring. He gapes at him before he remembers his manners, and notice the dog.

He lets out a small yelp and takes a few steps back. Oh no, dog! ]

[ Gladstone lets out an excited bark at the hobbit, dragging John from whatever recess of his mind he had retreated too. Thankfully on a leash he's able to keep the blood hound from jumping all over the other before quickly bending down and picking the animal up. ]

[ That yelp turns into half a screech of fear as Frodo falls on his butt and covers his face as if that would do any good if the dog were any real danger.

He peeks through his arms and tries to calm himself. ]

[ He hushes the dog, giving the other an apologetic look. Boy does he feel guilty for giving the poor guy a scare, all because he wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings. Too busy trapped within his own mind and it's problems. ]

[ Frodo's glad the dog has stopped seeming so eager to chew him up, though his heart is beating so loud he scarcely hears what the man says. He takes time to respond as he scrambles to his feet, watching the dog warily before turning to the man. ]
