[He is certainly not his usual cheerful and/or violent self right now. Mostly because he's only been here a few months and he already hates this.]

No. Someone from my world - someone I am very close to - was here for a short while.

That's all we can do. It's not too bad if home isn't... crappy.

Mine could always be better - but I'm sure that's true of most places. We had fairly good lives there, though.
