I awoke in my own room, I can only hope you have done the same. Please, if you see this, let me know that you are well.

Has everyone returned safely? Forgive me, I am certain I am not acquainted with everyone who traveled through the mirror. But that does not lessen my worry.

My name is Igraine Pendragon.

[ She sounds a tad exhausted as she dictates: ]

I never thought a mirror could cause such havoc..

So it appears I still have much to learn. I shouldn't have taken the warnings that such things could happen so lightly. What I do know, however, is that I won't soon approach anything odd that appears in the lobby.

It's a pleasure, Bunnymund. [ Suddenly, there's amusement in her voice. ] Unless I am mistaken, you have made quite an impression on the little ones here.

[ Shh. She's just putting two and two together; excited talk of a giant bunny, someone introducing themselves as Bunnymund. ]

[That gets something of a chuckle]

Glad to hear it. Most of them seem to really need someone in their life. Anything I can do to help that, well, that's fine by me. [A Guardian]

I am certain they appreciate the sentiment more than you will ever know.

Though, more than anything, I wish they had not been stolen away from their homes to suffer this world.

So long as they're safe is appreciation enough for me.

Some of them have been stolen from terrible places. I wish I could change that for them more than anything. No kid deserves to be put through what some of them have gone through.

Yes, so I have been told. A child should never have to suffer such horrors, especially if such events make residing here preferable.

I wish that I could do more to protect them.

Anywhere where a magical kidnapping castle is a better option isn't a good place to be.

[ Second time he's heard someone talk about weird things in the lobby. ]

Hey, what's in the lobby that everyone keeps talking about?

Several days ago, a mirror appeared in the lobby and those who approached fell victim to the strange world within it.

We were returned safely but I have been told it happens much more frequently than most would like. Some were affected by the world more than others but I do not know why.

[ Ah, so that's the deal with the mirror. ]

Like everything else about this place wasn't bad enough. How frequently are we talking here?

It is difficult to say, I'm afraid.

Some have said monthly, others every other month. It is hard to predict what the castle has in store for its residents.

Guess I really will have to stay on my toes. Thanks for the heads up.

[She manages to sound mostly convincing. She did come out okay, just a little... changed. For now.]

I was. I had to be certain, as I met many in that world who I know well here. [ Plus! Her precious baby boy was stuck there, along with her love. Fretting forever. ]

Were any of the people you know acting kinda weird? Like they were someone else? Because I was.

[She gives an awkward little chuckle, trying not to make it sound like a big deal. She's trying to help, not make her worry even more!]

[Except for still being under four inches tall, of course. Details.]

Fortunately, everyone I am acquainted with was spared that. They were just as baffled by the experience as I.

[ A bit of laughter, though it's light. ] Good! It wouldn't do if you were not yourself.

[A hesitant pause. Would Rise count still being a fairy even though she's back to her normal personality "not being herself"?]

... Yeah. The tea party and flying around was fun, but I'd rather have been just normal Rise.

Or not gone to that weird place at all.

From what I've heard, I think everyone has returned. Some with injuries, but it sounds like its all been taken care of.

.. Oh! Hello, again.

[ She remembers you, Conan. This lady is especially happy to hear from him. ]

That is fortunate. Were you injured?

No! I wasn't hurt at all! [But he may have traumatized one of the card soldiers.]

[He sees the filter, but instead of answering it because of the entire name thing, he just shows up at her room and knocks (because he's polite to her at least and won't just walk in on her doing something).

Knock, knock Igraine.]

[ As she's had very few visitors, she has an idea of who it might be. As she had been brushing her hair, it's all resting over one shoulder but she is still all smiles once she opens the door to peek outside.

The smile takes on a playful air as she jokingly greets him. Still, he has no idea how happy she is to see him safe. ]

Have you brought another painted rose?

Pendragon? [Oh hey his country named something after your family there. But he'll ignore that.]

I came out with more injuries than I went in with, but I'll survive.

I am sorry to hear that.

Have you been to the clinic? If you have not yet tended to your wounds, they welcome anyone.

I already paid one visit to a doctor before that mess started, I don't think they'd be thrilled to see me around again. [a small laugh] I don't think a visit is necessary for this anyway.

[Even though he really should, but he's hella stubborn.]

Forsooth, 'twas a hard earned lesson for many here.

Hard, yes, but they may not be as quick to repeat the lesson. At least that is my hope.

Considering the number of incidents and the number of residents who doth fall prey to these events, it may be inadequate to assume that there are no other forces at play here.

[stupid castle]

I am... [ A pause. 'Well' would not be a right word for this. ] I am better.

[ Not fine, not well, but better. There are still times she sees things she does not want to see, hears voices that cannot be here, but she is convinced she isn't trapped there anymore. ]

Are you? It pleases me to hear you say so.

[ Better was good, much better than seeing her nearly broken in an unfamiliar world. Even now, her heart still breaks when she recalls that sight. ]

Morgana. I would never assume that whatever ails you should be shared with someone but I do not wish to see you cry again. It does not matter the hour or the circumstance. If you find yourself in need, my door will never be closed to you.

And I know that is a sentiment also shared by Merlin. [ Older Merlin, of course, but she's sure Morgana gets that without her having to elaborate further. ]

[ She stares at the journal for a time, she had not expected this while at the same time she had. This woman has a kindness in her, a kindness that Morgana finds difficult to deny.

She had seen her at her weakest and embraced her, calmed her, gave her that what she wanted so desperately. ]

I... [ Inhale. ]

Thank you, Igraine. [ The words feel odd coming from her lips, knowing that this in itself is an acceptance of the woman. ]

... I am somewhat worried about any I attempted to eat...

[ He doesn't like people, but that doesn't mean he's interested in eating them... ]

[ It takes her a moment, as she has to read this several times -- but it never quite sinks in. ]

Eat? I was unaware that something like that even occurred.

Thank you, yes. Though I have to say I don't think I've ever been so happy to be a human again. [she laughs]

[ While she doesn't laugh, the amusement in her voice is crystal clear. ]

I can only imagine. If nothing else, there was never a dull moment to be had in that world.

Not a single one. It did make for some interesting stories, though. I did enjoy that part of it.
