Um! H-Hello, everyone... [Colette might sound just a tiny bit sheepish as she talks over the journal. Have you ever been in that situation where something big happened in your life, but it was a private matter? And then you're not sure if you should be telling people that it happened, because it's not exactly something that comes up easily in casual conversation? So now the time has come that you actually have a question for a lot of people regarding this new development, BUT YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD ANYONE ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Life is hard. So Colette sounds a touch... nervous as she regards the journal. It's definitely a good kind of nervous, but still. Nerves.]

Every year around the same time, a lot of people here celebrate a holiday called Valentines day! Its a holiday from Earth, I think, where people do special things for the people that they really care about.

[it's not coming up super soon, but still, two and a half weeks. That's soon-ish.] So! Um, I've celebrated the holiday before, but I was wondering... If you're suppose to do something different if there's someone that you really like, and they said that they like you too, and you might be... dating?

Well a date is when two people who are romantically interested in each other spend time alone together doing whatever helps them bond. Have you had that?

Oh, so just spending time together doing normal things is okay? Then yeah, I guess we've been having a lot of dates!

Well not like chores and stuff...

Right. Well you two should go do something together that you both enjoy! Some people take walks, some go out to dinner, go out for drinks, go dancing- the sky's the limit as long as you're having fun!

Mm, okay. And since it's a special day, doing something that's out of the ordinary will make it better, right? [okay, something special that they both like. SHE CAN DO THIS]

Now you're catching on! Maybe something you've always wanted to try or is kinda pricey to do it normally- I'm sure you can think of something!
